Would like to know your Views and how many items you have listed as shown on Seller Hub (Not the "impressions')
I have about 9000 (past 30 days) and 600 listings, so that is an average of:
300 views a day- 50% of my listings count
07-06-2024 06:59 PM
I will play along...
Past 30 days:
540 views and 157 listings
18 views per day-about 11.4% of my listings count
Views are up 0.4% compared to last month

All I can add is that everything is down right now across the board nothing but red. My sales for the last 30 days are 29% down from the previous 30 days.
Impressions down 8.9% after being down almost 12% the previous period.
Page views down 12.5%
Sales conversion rate down .5% after being down the last 30 as well.
I know it's summer, I know there's been a lot of bad weather events, I know the economy isn't great... But something else is off. Usually it has to do with some kind of internal change to the site. How we're getting seen, etc.
My real take on it is... It's the perfect storm of bad news all around. Nothing is great right now and having some kind of technical problem with the site performance is just "throwing gas on the fire." Things are just plain bad. Who knows when we'll see a reversal of fortune but every instinct I have is telling me to prepare for bad times, low income incoming.

I don't usually respond on these threads, but I was curious...
I have a little over 12,000 listings, so not lots of views compared to listings, but lots of my stuff people won't look at unless they're looking for that type of thing, so some of my items never get any views (like postcards, or certain stamp lots).

@stainlessenginecovers wrote:Not really- 'views' means people are CLICKING on your listing.
This tells you:
Are you being seen?
Views tell you absolutely nothing about whether you are being seen. I would say probably 95% of the things I sell sell with fewer than 10 views. Clearly they were being seen.

I know eBay is talking about making it possible to purchase directly from a search results page but until that happens in order to purchase you must view the listing page.
If you scroll down to the details of your traffic report you can see the individual Conversion rates, quite a few of my sales get only 1 or 2 views (a Conversion rate of 50 - 100%) some get a lot of views and have a conversion rate of 0% (no sales). This tells me that the item in question has interest but for whatever reason (price usually) they are not buying.
The other metric I look at is Impressions by Placement, specifically Top 20 Search Impressions, those only come from being on the first page of search results.
As I mentioned up thread eBay doesn't provide enough data points to truly get a handle on what is going on, I would like to see conversion rates broken down by placement.

Unfortunately, in order to get a consistently accurate number for all metrics, there needs to be a consistently stable baseline for all metrics to be measured by, especially categorically. eBay has not been able to "consistently" provide that due to glitches, platform and policy changes. eBay just puts it there for individual reference only. It has little value in my opinion.

I find that my external site page views have the closest correlation with my sales. When they are down, so are my sales.
My conversion rate is fairly constant.
My percentage of top 20 impressions also affects my sales.
Lots of numbers to use to speculate.
I feel no need for other people's numbers because my own are hard enough to interpret.

On Sellers hub you've eliminated the box that says TRAFFIC and is NOT something you can 'eliminate'.
I am only curious to see what others are seeing. I should have also asked
WHAT IS THE PERCENTAGE (compared to last month)
OK for your research or whatever you are doing I took a peek.
Listings - 81
Views - 2,408
Compared to last month - ^1.1%
Data for 6 June - 6 July

I only care about sales.

Ok, I'll play.
About 1000 views and a little over 900 listings.
33 views a day = 3% of listings count. If I did the math right.
I can see these numbers varying wildly depending on what your selling. As someone else posted I have a lot of items that don't get any views till the one that makes the sale.

Hi Sir I'm being listing items and there is no views of my products please solve this problem
07-07-2024 05:24 AM
Lots of ways to look at it, I count listings with 0, 1 and 2 Views:
0 Views = 38%
1 View = 21.5%
2 Views = 9.5%
TTL = 69%
So boiling it down, about 69% of my listings have 2 or fewer Views in the last 30 days.

The question in your title should be "What ARE your page views"
You must have been reading too many rosemary6525 posts, I think... 😅

I am curious, if you do not mind sharing, how do you use this data? Are you taking action to increase the view counts on the listings with 2 or fewer views? If yes, what have you tried and has anything you tried provided positive results?
85% of my listings have 2 or fewer views in the last 30 days.

@sapphire_studio wrote:I have not done a very good job listing this month so a lot of My Views and impressions are down I guess. My sales seem normal though.
Just a numbers check and since you sell 1 of type items, of course it will be different (since 1 item is sold and not regularly replaced) but you would be
815 listings, 6012 Views is 200 a day, so about 25% of your items are seen...
DAILY- that seems very good! (obviously 1 item can be viewed 5 times in a day and 5 items could not be viewed for 10 days, but this just gives an 'idea', an 'average'- of how often your stuff is being seen and/or how many, on Average- are being 'clicked on' by buyers, each day.
