So my 7 year old is scrolling through eBay searching under Disney pvc figures and comes across this
eBay item 【JUNK】Falling a b*** Princess knight Jeanne Grenoble figure ( painted PVC )Pictures are too graphic to post. He says "mommy what Disney princess is this?" Of course I come over to look and what greets me is a girl spread eagle with vag in my face! I do a little searching around and it looks like this seller has over 50 items listed in the Disney category and none are Disney items. Should't items like this be posted in the Adult Category where children can't see them??? I tried reporting it to ebay days ago and they haven't done anything. Am I wrong for not wanting my child to see these things? Another one the seller has up is a girl with a Dildo in her rear and one in her hand. Not sure how that is allowed outside of the Adult categoryHow does one get Ebay to fix this? Is reporting an item the wrong way to do it? Thanks!

I don't know how fast eBay acts on these reports, but maybe you can expedite this one, Trinton?
Thanks for tagging Trinton and getting this taken care of!

Hi everyone, just wanted to touch base and say we I've passed this along to the appropriate teams for review. While the severity of the violations will determine the order in which they are reviewed (something like human trafficking or firearms on the site may pose a more pressing risk, for example), we'll be sure to have these listings investigated for appropriate action. Thanks for all that you do to keep the site safe!

It's been many hours since this was reported and there are numerous pornographic items still listed and viewable (without Adult Verification) from this Seller who is located in Japan. When I search for "Disney pvc figures painted pvc" you will see them on page 3. Other variations of this search might pull up more.
Can you please make sure these are either moved to the Adult Section or blocked/removed.
Let's keep the site safe for children!
Thanks!

Thanks Alan!
I'm going to a yoga class with my Japanese girlfriend (who found these pornographic items incredibly offensive). I hope these are removed or blocked (with proper Age Verification) when I check back here later this evening.

Back from Yoga, had dinner, watched the Warriors game, had a snack, up way past midnight ..... and the pornographic items from this Seller still come up in a Disney search. I know no-one will see this until the morning, but please address this first thing!

Hi @greg5000, as I mentioned before, this has been passed on to the appropriate team for review and we will take action. I assure you that listing violations are something we take very seriously and they will be addressed as soon as possible. I can only reiterate that the severity of the violation will determine the time it takes us to review reports and take action, and with millions new listings on the site every day this is a continual processes.
You are welcome to report any listings you see to flag them for review and ensure nothing is missed. Our investigative teams regularly scan proactively for violating content and this specific concern has been reported already, so will be addressed.

It isnt. Kids surfing the web unsupervised are going to run into stuff thats WAY worse than that. Ebay needs to be watching out for all kinds of stuff besides that - such as scam listings and sellers and buyers who are trying to rip off each other for all kinds of money. Yes the listings are a violation but no they are not a TOP priority. Hopefully they are close to the top but thats all you can hope for. Just keep reporting if you see something really nasty.

Since children are most likely going to be looking for Disney items (either with or without their parents) perhaps reporting here would help? https://report.cybertip.org/ and use misleading words or images on the internet.
It doesn't seem to be a very high priority to Ebay, even though IMO it's far more dangerous than any firearm that could be sold.

Hi @dbmm-media, I apologize if there was any confusion - as I have stated in my previous responses, this is something we take seriously and will work on resolving. I have mentioned the severity of the violation being a factor to provide context as to why you may not see removals immediately; while miscategorized items of an adult nature are something we absolutely consider to be a priority, they may not take precedence over other violations such as human trafficking, firearm violations, illegal drugs, etc.
To reiterate again for clarity - this has been reported, is being addressed, and we thank everyone for their participation in keeping our site safe. We appreciate your patience as we work to review listings for removal and hope that the details we've provided will help to assure you that any perceived delay is not due to this not being taken seriously, but simply because there may be other violations that may need to be addressed with more urgency. Though I work to be transparent and up front when responding on topics such as this so everyone has the proper expectations, this should not be viewed as us not taking matters like this seriously. If any additional information I have provided only leads to create more concern within the Community, then I will simply omit added context in the future.

@Anonymous- I hope you will not cease providing context in the future. I find it to be helpful in understanding policies. See post 25 and all the kudos- that shows you many people understood your context and how other violations need to take precedence to keep the site safe. Don't let a few making a big deal deter you from advising the many others who appreciate the context. 🙂
It hasn't been mentioned yet, but there is a personal responsibility factor here. Yes that seller is violating rules- but they have been reported and action will be taken. I'm not excusing what the seller did and I would love to see an immediate take down or re-categorization of the listings- but there is another side to the coin that should be considered. eBay doesn't want to show porn to kids. There's a site policy that says you need to be 18 years old to use this site. If a kid is browsing eBay or any part of the internet then their parent or guardian should perhaps take a look before letting their kid do so. There are programs out there that put blocks on this type of content and several parents I know use them. Maybe the OP would find one of those programs helpful. I'm glad this was reported- my thanks to the OP for helping to keep the graphic content in the appropriate categories. As an adult I would prefer not to see that content while browsing, either!
