Just received a message from a seller who sells similar items as me. He stated he got reported and is claiming it was me and told me he’s going to report all my items. What can I do against this seller?

As far as I know, there is no policy against reporting listings to eBay.

He sounds like an idiot. Why bother? Don't react, just maintain... you are doing nothing wrong.

your best bet is to do nothing. They will get past being all salty and everything will be just fine.
I encounter sellers using my copyrighted photos in their listings to sell items. It irks me yeah, but there is really nothing I can do about it. I just shake my head about some sellers laziness and move on with my day.

Are you approved to sell digital items?
Do you own the rights to sell the digital items?

Never wrestle with a pig. You both get dirty. . .but the pig likes it.

Stop selling Digital Items unless you are in compliance with eBay's Digital Policy.

Just want to give you a heads up on the feedback you have left for a buyer. It is against eBay policy to leave a negative worded positive for buyers. The buyer can report you to eBay for that.

in general, won't mean anything, ebay doesn't take reports from other sellers as seriously as buyers reporting item...why idk, just seems that's the way it is. Wouldn't worry about...as long as your not doing anything against policy you should be fine.

Just curious and ok..I don't know what it is?? Can you just offer a little insight on what you sell? Thank you.

IF people are using other peoples photos that item better look like the one in the picture or that seller is going to have a bad day with their customer.

If you aren't doing anything wrong...........why worry?
If both of you are selling "illegal on ebay" stuff..........both should worry........

I take it you've looked at the OP's listings?

I disagree. You need to list in the Clasified format>Everything else category.
And I believe Electronic Arts User Agrement 6. Rules of Conduct says you can't use your account for commercial activities, which selling on eBay is a commercial activity; you can't obtain passwords of other accounts.

I'm curious too. I don't know what they are either but it sounds like buying a video game score rather than earning it by playing.
