Seller Threatening To Report My Items

Just received a message from a seller who sells similar items as me. He stated he got reported and is claiming it was me and told me he’s going to report all my items. What can I do against this seller?

Aye, there's the rub. Methinks the OP should maintain a low profile when it comes to reporting anyone for anything.*

What CAN you do or what SHOULD you do?

There are a million things you can do to this seller, some legal, some not.

What you should do to this seller is ignore them. If they want to report your items, let them.

Don't know enough about your listings to be able to make a helpful suggestion; however, it does appear that many knowledgeable folks here do believe you're violating  a few eBay rules, so it could be that the person who plans on reporting you is right.

And to really make it a head-shaker, the person threatening to report OP's listing is doing so because he was reported for the same violations and thinks OP did it.   Pot, meet Kettle.

Re: Seller Threatening To Report My Items

Upon reviewing some of what you're selling, I'm curious as to whether it is not prohibited by the licensing agreements with the gaming companies involved.  While I'm not into gaming, it would appear to be something that would be frowned upon by most players and thus damage the reputation of the game.  Of course, that is just the opinion of a non-gamer.

I do believe that threatening to report your listings is not something that should be done.  However, that isn't to say that simply reporting them and letting eBay decide if there is a issue with them is another matter.  Threatening bad.  Actually reporting, maybe not so much.

Re: Seller Threatening To Report My Items

You ignore and move on unless you think possibly you do have something against Ebay policy listed. If so you remove the item yourself before the other person has Ebay report it. One problem you need not worry about is as long as your item is OK by Ebay, then they will do nothing anyway.
