Re: Scammers

You open an Unpaid Item case in the Resolution Center, link at the bottom of the page, when a buyer doesn't pay. It can be opened 48 hours after the listing ended and can be closed 96 hours after you opened it to reclaim your fees.

You don't need to go to court to get your fees refunded, you need to learn how to sell on ebay.

Ebay has some protections for sellers; one of them is to file an unpaid claim against the buyer (as already stated)--that will get your fees back. Otherwise, ebay doesn't know that the buyer didn't pay and assumes that you were paid or will be paid.

https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/payment-policies/unpaid-item-policy?id=4271

You are a scammer magnet because you are selling expensive items and you have little knowledge of ebay's rules.

Next thing that could happen is a scammer wanting you to text, call, or email them to arrange payment, if that hasn't happened to you already.

You should consider selling these locally to a individual or a jeweler imo.

Great. Now I've got Aretha's "Who's Zooming Who?" stuck up in my head. It's pretty cool...

Re: Scammers

You have placed yourself in a quite precarious situation with expensive items and little eBay experience showing. Since you are not familiar with eBay policies, you could lose your Rolex, your money, or both.

Follow the link and advice provided by the other posters to get your Final Value fees credited back to you. Ebay charges its fees immediately upon the sale of the item. If the transaction falls through, then it is your responsibility to use the Unpaid Item process to ensure the fees get returned to you. That is much easier to do than attempting to sue a giant global behemoth like eBay.

You might consider listing your more expensive items as fixed price with Immediate Payment Required. You would have to forgo the Best Offer option, but then your item cannot be removed from the marketplace without payment being rendered first. Below is a link with more information. Good luck.

I don't know jack about watches, but I do know Rolex didn't have a quartz watch until the 1970s. Both those watches say quartz. If they're actually Rolexes, they sure weren't made in the 20s and 40s.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

In me opinion: and its easy to see on them items, they are cheep Rolex look alike (FAKES).

They are all over the place in the flea markets etc. usually about $5.00 to ten with good battery...

Oh well this is the Internets and it is buyer beware.

On eBay you see such usually in a bulk pile listings showing but not stated of course..

And they are well under the price for authentication of a watch so that is also a clue...

As for the seller they are just asking for an item not as described case and losing item and money.

Fake or real..

The jewel count is wrong for a Rolex quartz, too. In the listing that states it...

Re: Scammers

You do realize that the 40% silver Kennedy half dollar you listed for $11 is worth less than $4, right?

Re: Scammers

Beside the issues already mentioned, the band has a fair amount of corrosion on it.  The back casing is not stamped.  The bezel is also missing several 'diamonds'.  All clear signs of a fake.

A lot of red flags.  You should probably remove those listings and have them checked out.  Any jeweler will be able to easily tell.

Also, you shouldn't list high priced items until you get some more seller experience.

@miccard-575

Ok, you need to remove both of those counterfeit Rolex watches pronto or they will be reported. You have understand something about this luxury brand..."it don't make cheap" in slang.

Everything about these watches are precisely accurate and NO JAPAN MOVEMENT like Don stated in his post. Your second listing of that fake looks like it was run over by a half track.

If you don't remove them, you'll be looking at more problems than we can possibly help with.
