Partiality of who can profit with any item at this time?

I've thoroughly searched and found that the people reporting (in their terms) price   gouging is up and active selling their products way above retail value making way more of a profit then I would had on my cleaning products for sure. Why would this be acceptable? Why isn't  fair all across the board? Do some of these sellers have some kind of pull? I have 100%feedback and excellent customer service, when did this become an issue all of a sudden? I provide products that people want right now and DEFINITELY not making the profit the reporters are TRYING to get for theirs. How is this even fair? Why aren't the reporters giving their items away? Better yet, why aren't they at least not auctioning or listing at retail value? Thanks, Barbara

I've never looked at your feedback page.

Nor had I until she suggested it.

I don't think any of us do until we need to identify something.  Post 19 was another poster that brought up your listing that captured Ebay's attention for the stuff at $51 which is nothing but price gouging no matter how you try to spin that one.  And since that happened after the purchase was made and the buyer left you glowing FB, just shows how desperate some people are to get their hands on these products.  But with that said, it does not justify this practice and it is illegal.

A simple yes would have avoided the entire back and forth between you and the other poster.  You knew what she was asking.

So what about the people that spend $30 more on your products instead of getting them at walmart for so much cheaper?

That would be a good trick since no Walmart around here sells much of anything that I do.  But even with that said, nothing I sell matters one bit in any way with staying safe and healthy during this health crisis.  No one is going to be desperately looking for an 8mm blue pearl so that they can help keep the virus away.  Maybe to bling their new fabric face mask, but beyond that no.  Nothing I sell has any impact on the health crisis one way or the other.

I have always found it interesting when some can't tell the difference.  It is puzzling to me to say the least.  Either they are being obtuse or they simply don't care or maybe both.

Evening,

As you continue to try to convince readers that you are an honorable profiteer and have been treated unjustly the more difficult it is to be remotely sympathetic.

"No one is going to be desperately looking for an 8mm blue pearl so that they can help keep the virus away. "

Perhaps you could create a youtube video promoting the anti-viral properties of blue pearls.  That may help sales, though if you source them in China, there might be some pushback...

More assumptions made a complete flop again. I just wanted answers and could care less if you or the reporters have any sympathy as to why it's okay their products can be $30 more then Walmarts is or why they would be selling anything for that matter at this time if they feel everyone isn't shopping in their right mind anyways. Thanks for your assumption though- noted... not really

It appears that eBay is now allowing approved authorized sellers to sell essential items such as Face Masks, Hand Sanitizers, and Cleaning Wipes & Pads. So if the essential sanitizing products that some sellers are selling are reasonably priced then all they need to do is contact eBay and receive their authorization.

This seller has been approved by eBay to sell essential goods. They received this email from eBay and posted that email earlier today within this thread.

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/Are-certain-quot-Approved-Sellers-quot-able-to-sell-masks/m-p/...

"We’d like to thank you for continuing to list important items during these unprecedented times.

We’re heavily restricting the sale of all Face Masks, Hand Sanitizers and Cleaning Wipes & Pads from the site in order to remove unreasonably priced listings, also known as price gouging.

Sellers who are not approved to sell items in these categories may have their listings blocked or removed from the site.

You have been approved to continue selling these items, but please be sure to abide by the following requirements:

• Must be listed at reasonable price - no price gouging

• Shipping only available within the US - no international shipping • Fixed Price only - no auctions

• Must be listed in the following categories:

â—‹ Face Masks (disposable and non-disposable)*: Business, Office & Industrial > Healthcare, Lab & Dental > Medical, Lab & Dental Supplies > Disposable Face Masks (257818)

â—‹ Hand Sanitizers: Health & Beauty > Health Care > Hand Sanitizers (177663)

â—‹ Disinfecting Wipes & Pads: Business & Industrial > Cleaning & Janitorial Supplies > Cleaners & Disinfectants > Cleaning Wipes & Pads (183924)

• Do not use Corona virus or COVID-19 in your listings. Buyers will be looking for these items for months and likely years to come. The best practice for listing these items is to list them for every-day life, not specific to Corona virus. Any mention of Corona virus or COVID-19 may cause the listing to be removed.

We will be regularly monitoring the site for these types of items, and if these items are listed outside of the categories above they will be removed, even if the seller is approved."

I beg to differ, Cologne and perfume is used as an substitute for sanitizers.

Re: Partiality of who can profit with any item at this time?

Evening,

Most of us understand being frustrated and wanting to vent at times especially when we feel we are being treated unjustly.

We can relate to that and many times come to the support of folks even when they really are being unrealistic.

There are many awesome wise posters on this board and treating their replies with distain ends up really coming back and biting you in the hiney.

Hopefully in a few days you will look back at some of this and realize you kind of self created and nutured most of the unpleasant replies.
