I encountered the new Make An Offer format this morning. Under the old format, I would enter the price of the offer. Under the new format it appears that you enter the amount of reduction from the actual price - or I may be misinterpreting the intent. Can anyone share any insight on this?

I had it too this morning when I sent a few offers. I just looked again in reference to your question and the new offer page is gone--old one is back (for now anyway). I have no idea why ebay insists on changing this stuff, when most of the time it just confuses things and causes mistakes to happen with no apparent improvement or enhancement to our task.
Good or bad, I often work using muscle memory. I learn what to click to accomplish what I want done, so when ebay sneaks in a change, I often miss something and usually make a mistake.

Not quite sure what you're referring to. Are you talking about SIO's? (Seller Initiated Offers). Or, are you talking about offers as a Buyer?

Look at the screenshot on this post @gtpickett :

Is that what your offers window looks like? If so, you should have the option to select "discount type" - are you saying it's missing the option to select "offer amount" instead of the default "percentage off"?

I think on ebay it's sometimes do something, make a change, even if it's of limited or no value, in order to appear busy & justify receiving a pay check.

Well, the screen I was looking at is gone and the old screen is back. I guess that makes my question moot, at least for now. I understand the percentage off, but the new screen seemed to indicate you had to enter dollars off instead of making a dollar offer. Thanks.

Seller initiated offers. It looks like they have solved my problem by going back to the old format. Thanks.

I agree and believe me it is not only eBay. I made one offer with the new screen before I realized something was amiss. I think I offered a potential buyer $20 off on a $25 item. Thanks.

Yes, for me, it appeared they were working on the pop-up this morning. I had two different views in a very short time. Now that it seems to be working again I hope they just let it be.

I do not know of a way to cancel a sent offer, however, you can end the listing if the buyer has not already accepted the offer.

Hi, it's already late in September but I came home from vacation recently and wanted to Send Offers. It said I had 20 items eligible. On the old page, it would show me all 20 items in order and on the left side next to the picture, it would say Send Offer and I'd click on that, name my new price, and send it.
Now what I see is all 20 items in order but it only offers me the option to choose to change the percentage or change the dollar amount. HOWEVER, let's say I want to make an offer to buyers, taking $5 off the price of the first item.....it takes $5 off EVERY item. Same with percentage. If I choose 20% off, that shows up as 20% off EVERY item. Yesterday for a brief time it was showing me the "right" way so that I could send offers on each item separately.
What the heck? Any thoughts? workarounds? HELP please!
