I'm not first or the last this have happened to but the way eBay handled this is shameful.
As a fairly new seller (on this account) I have 304 feedbacks at this time, all positive until yesterday.
I know as everyone else sooner or later a neg or neu feedback will happen. Just the game of eBay, right?
... But when the feedback is not valid or wrongfully added, shouldn't eBay stand behind the seller?
(I received a positive comment and a neutral feedback).
The incident with my buyer is probably not unique in any way, but if no one say something this nonsence will continue. I'm pretty confident my buyer left this feedback by ignorance and not to hurt my store in any way, but this is the situation where eBay should step in and help the seller out.
I'm a trs with 100% feedback, I do the promoted listings (not because I want to but seems like thats the only way nowadays), I have the silly free returns and free shipping, all to please the algorhytm. And here comes the no responsibility act from eBay. How can you allow a fairly new (9 feedbacks) to leave neg and neu at the same time leave a positive comment? Unbelieveable.
When contacted cs it was like talking to a wall, no sympathy or effort to make this situation right. As explained to cs and their MANAGER this buyer leave these comments to everyone (neg and neu and a positive comment).
I feel discourage to list and do my promoted listings at this time, as eBay obviously don't stand behind their sellers.

I based it on the ebay wording on the subject of a buyer changing their feedback;
"However, if you've left negative or neutral feedback for a seller and want to change it to positive feedback, the seller may be able to send you a feedback revision request"

Maybe, maybe not? You could try.

I do not find it in any way "unbelievable" that eBay allows neutral feedback with a non-negative comment.
The fact that the buyer thought your item was "Very pretty" may have absolutely nothing to do with the reason why the buyer did not report a positive experience. Would it satisfy you if customer support changed the comment to say "Very pretty but not a positive transaction"?
There is nothing in eBay policy that requires a buyer to fully disclose his feelings in the feedback comment.

Unless you are using a posting ID, you don’t have any neutral or negative feedback.

OP is posting with two different ids in this thread. The one in the Original Post has a neutral.

That neutral would not discourage me from buying from you. It is hardly noticeable and the comment is good. It's not a negative and maybe the buyer had other reservations. It's a legitimate feedback if they wanted to leave a neutral as that would be their opinion. It really doesn't detract from your stellar record, in my opinion.

I don't see any neg.......do see the neutral. If it were a neg with a positive comment , I would contact the buyer , ask if it were a mistake and would they do a revision, if it was.........

Either negative or neutral can be revised.
