I swear this has been removed because I don't see it anywhere....
I can't create multiple % rules, it only allows 1 rule...
There used to be option to add...
And then you create rules... assigning the different % discounts based on different rules.. But I see no option to add multiple %. You can't create multiple rules...
Or I'm just not seeing it... anyone want to point me in the right direction?

Read this thread @robbie31415 :
This is an intentional change by eBay. Go to this page:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/mkt/promotionmanager/dashboard
To the left of the blue create discount button on top right of page, there is a Comments link. Click on that to submit your feedback. This is a direct link:
https://www.ebay.com/srv/survey/a/selling.sellerhubpromotions
The issue sellers need to look out for: if you copy an old sale that had tiers, it will include only the highest discount percent on all items.

I don't think you're missing anything. I don't see that option either, except for Volume Discounts (which is a different thing). We just run multiple sales for each discount percentage (ours are based on the time listed, so it's relatively easy to do).

This must be a recent change... My old sales event just ended.. I even tried to 'Copy' it and the rules don't transfer over..
This can't be right... If this is the change eBay wants... I'd have to create like multiple sales events based on different %'s.
This change nulifies the whole creating rules when you can essentially only create 1 rule.

Yeah, I remember there being a whole bunch of options, though I didn't remember being able to do multiple levels, but x amount off multiple items, etc, and now there's just the two options.

Yeah on the first image I showed, there was an 'add' button. You could save multiple %'s.
Then you go to 'Select items', and then go to 'Create rules'.
Then you could select each % and assign rules.. Such as 10% could be tied to only items with condition New, and 30% could be connected to items that are condition Used..
This was available just 1 month ago when I created my last rule on July 23rd.
..... !!!!! eBay what did you do.

This is horrible change!!!
Thank you so much for that link, I thought I must be missing it... Like how could eBay remove the ability to make tiers.....
I didn't think it was a technical issue, I thought it was me just being blind! But intentional!??!?!... eBay!!!!!!!

Update from a rep at eBay Open today:
"We saw relatively low usage of the feature and the technical effort to maintain it was extremely high. We hear the feedback from sellers that were using it and will consider that in our future roadmap for promotional tools."

Thank you for sharing that information. It’s unfortunate. I understand that most sellers probably didn’t use the tiered system and opted for a single percentage discount across all sale items. However, some of us built our entire pricing structure around these tiers, allowing us to offer different percentages for items based on factors like condition.
I get that eBay tends to phase out features that only a small percentage of sellers use, but this change impacts how we promote sales, especially through store banners. Previously, I could run a single sale with multiple tiers and promote it effectively in a banner on my store’s homepage. Now, I’m running five separate sales, which makes promotion less straightforward.

I think there's a lot of work that needs to be done with Store marketing banners. I got into this on a different discussion thread recently - can't remember which one but I think it was one of @my-cottage-books-and-antiques threads? If it is maybe he'll come along and post the link.
Basically I was saying we should be able to create marketing banners off keyword searches. But there's also a lot more that can be done with regard to promoting sales - like you said, taking one to a consolidated page for all sale as opposed to being limited to promoting a single sale.

@robbie31415 I think you want 'volume pricing' and NOT 'sale event'??
Sale Event, which you show, is for one percentage or dollar amount off; then you 'choose' the items.

Maybe ebay will soon lower our seller fees a bit to compensate for the inconvenience on our part and the smaller workload on their part.

They removed it... you also can't put the same item on sale again within 14 days of the sale ending, so you will never be able to have what you want on sale when you want. It will be impossible to manage.
To combat this, I am going to set up categories in my store and then bulk move the items as needed back and fourth to each category.
That way I can still drive the traffic and maintain control with a few clicks without dealing with the limitations they have created.
