You can't. They automatically renew every month/30 days.
You can end them manually at any time.

Yup, you can't. This change was made maybe 2 years ago now.
If you don't want them to renew, you'll have to end them just before they renew. Your SH shows how many are ending that day.

There is no more such thing as 30 day listings. Anything you list for now on stays listed until you turn 99 years old, or until either the item sells, or you manually end it.

They used to end after the 30 days I guess I finally noticed they aren't. lol I can end them early is right. Just wanted to make sure they weren't on auto relist. Guess that won't happen if they are never ending buy it nows lol
Thanks

FYI - The 30 day option went away in March of 2019

Or if your account becomes a mess then eBay will end everything for you.

You can't.
It's just another of eBay's revenue-enhancing tricks called GTC, "Good Till Cancelled".
As others have posted it was introduced a couple of years ago as a method of increasing fees charged to unwary and unknowing sellers by automatically renewing BIN items with listing fee automatically assessed. Another one of eBay's "gotcha" tactics to squeeze every penny out of sellers.
Another eBay trick is charging the seller a fee on state sales tax the buyer pays.

Very few sellers, probably less than 2% actually have more than 250 items rolling over during the 30 day period so they collect very little fees on that.

And in addition to that, listings renew once a month, not every 30 days. At first it was every 30 days, but after a few months eBay changed it so that listings would never renew twice in one month.

You can't turn it off. eBay forced automatic renewals on sellers a few years ago.
