Got VeRO Counterfeit Item from Enterprise Brand Protection - Incopro Webside

I resived a VeRO today for Counterfeit Item from a Webside called Enterprise Brand Protection - Incopro 

Strange item was new in original packaging. Checked the email address ebay gave me in the email and i found out it belongs to incopro a webside where you can sign up to protect your brand. Not really sure whats going on here. You expect that the Brand or a Lawyer for the Brand would complain to ebay but now its a webside making money searching for items they can claim that they are Counterfeit. Anyone else got a VeRO because of them?

Official Vero complaints come through eBay.  Did you get a notice in your eBay inbox from eBay?  Many people get these 3rd party threats and I think at least some of them are from competitors trying to get you to take down your listing.  Strongly suggest contacting eBay reps by sending a private message to eBay for Business on Facebook.  If they have no record of the takedown then it is not enforceable via eBay.  That "company" would have to sue you directly.

Yes the message came from ebay they took down the listing.

But the contact email address from the person filling the VeRO complain was Incopro.

I just wonder how does ebay or I know they actually work for the brand.

Looks like everyone can sign up with their service.

Was the item removed? If it was VeRO it would have been taken down by eBay. If it is still there then babclassic is most likely on target.

You need to stop listing it as you will be banned from selling if eBay keeps removing it.

It's common for such pop up businesses to form to solve today's issues.  Like all the new job applicant screening firms that now exist.

Some companies don't like their brand selling at flea-markets.  They feel it cheapens the brand name.

Yes the item was deleted. So for some reason an online service can decide your items is fake

I dont relist the item I know that i get in trouble with ebay if i relist the item.

Just like to know if ebay accepts everyone's claim that an item is fake

The VERO member hired THAT company to file the complaint on ebay.

If ebay removed it then it is valid.

Corporate attorneys are expensive, brands hire these companies that charge less to police the internet. They are acting on behalf of the right owners. It’s not just some rando telling eBay to delete listings.
