So, have not been Selling here for quite some time, and suddenly want to start selling some items I do not longer need , but suddenly sees that I have been Restricted from Selling. I guess it is because I have not been Selling for the last 3 or 4 yrs or so..
It says GO LOOK at your Messages. I go look at my Messages, but I have no idea what I am looking for and I can not find anything specific.
Am I looking for something that is may 4yrs old then or perhaps something I have deleted ages ago?
Who am I supposed to write to, to get this in order?
Or am I supposed to start with a Listing that is a Low-Value Item perhaps? Like something that is $50 instead of $400 maybe??
What am I supposed to do to find out what to do, so I am able to sell some items that takes up too much space in my apartment?

But hey, thx for info of what I should not sell. Fine. I will not try to take over your Market or something.

What the posters here think, doesn't mean a lot, it's what Ebay thinks.
If you're account was permanently suspended, they mean permanently.

I wanted to reach out to inform you that there have been new requirements for sellers on eBay over the past four years, especially regarding receiving payments after transactions. To sell on eBay, you will need to provide eBay with either your Social Security Number or a Business Tax Identification Number. Additionally, it's essential to specify which financial institution (such as your bank, PayPal account, Chime, or a checking/savings account) you want your funds transferred to.
If you're able to access your account, I encourage you to update this necessary information as soon as possible in order to start selling on eBay. If you run into any difficulties, I recommend contacting eBay customer service, as they are there to assist all sellers, including those returning to the platform.
I hope this information helps you get everything sorted out. Welcome back to eBay!

This has nothing to do with what the users here think.
Based on what you reported in 2021, eBay told you that you were in danger of being permanently suspended because your seller performance did not meet eBay's minimum requirements. At that time, you said that you were not going to do anything about it because you were not going to sell on eBay again. So the chances are that you were permanently suspended from selling back in 2021. You posted a screenshot showing that you were Below Standard, and had been for a while.
This had nothing to do with how much you were selling, it was about how dissatisfied your buyers were, in one way or another. Poor seller performance means you had unhappy buyers. It wasn't because of shipping costs either. What you charge for shipping does not factor into your selling performance. From another post, it sounds like you had problems with packages not being delivered to your buyers. That could have contributed to the problem. 18/42 = 42.86% cases closed without seller resolution, yes that's a big problem.
@whgamer wrote 09-18-2021:Just wants to ask if anyone else is having/have had/receiving similar letters from Ebay as me, and what one should do about it.
On 2 occasions by now I getting this message from Ebay keeping telling me that my Selling Privileges may be suspended or limited.
This is what it says:
We wanted to let you know that your seller performance is still falling below our minimum requirements in the United States.
Based on your performance, we may need to limit the number of listings you can have. And in some cases, we may permanently suspend your account—which means you will no longer be able to sell on eBay.
I checked up on what it was the reason, and apparently in some cases I have too high Shipping Cost. Well, thanks to Postal Sevices costs, they are very high, even in my own opinion, and that is the fact for me having too high Shipping Cost Price, because quite simply I HAVE to charge the ACTUAL Shipping Price thx again to the Public Postal Services.
And well, I am finished Selling on Ebay. It is several months since I last sold anything on Ebay. I am NOT likely to ever again, sell, anything, again on Ebay.
But I do keep my Ebay since I ACTUALLY DO BUY items myself on Ebay on occasions.
So, please Ebay, stop threatening me you will SUSPEND My Account for not SELLING enough/any longer. I´m done selling.
I wonder what next step from Ebay is. Suspend and close my Accont for actually using My Acccoint to buy items with??!?

Sorry,I do not know what you are referring to when you mention a thing like something back in from 2001. I was not on Ebay back then. I came mUcH later.
Color me confused. The post I linked (message #9) was not from 2001, but from 2021. Did you tick and read it?
ETA: Sorry, I see that @lacemaker3 has ticked it for you.

I am back and want to sell on Ebay again, since I do juat have a few things I need to get rid of and that takes up way too much space.
I am not here to sell for many years. I am here to get rid of items that are in need of a new and better home for a few mths and then I am done selling. I will still buy as I been doing for a long time some items on occasions though.
Anyway, thx all for info and help.
My apologies, I misread the date. I will correct it:
I think you were mistaken back then. The minimum standards for sellers had nothing to do with the volume you were selling as you posted in 2021. It had to do with you failing to meet eBay's definition of what eBay considered to be a seller in good standing.

IBAN is Intl Bank Acct Number.
Being inactive for a long time, your banking info probably needs confirming and they regard you essentially as a new seller, being dormant for a long time, so they do put holds on funds for those they are regarding as new sellers. It is a change from how things were way back. These are normal checks that exist now.

That case there was some time ago, and I was done, and was likely not coming back and selling again. But now I do till have my Ebay and I now want to come back and sell again, since because I need it. And the Suspension that was back then was back then and I could explain it in full detail, but I will choose not to, because I do not need to, and thingas have changed, a lot, since I last was a seller here. Too much even.
Anyway, now we are in ´25, I still have my Account, and now I wish to sell some Items for a little while, till I choose not to anymore.

As a Seller eBay must have selected to Permanently restricted you from selling for ever. Must have done something not so good.
On the bright side you still can buy on eBay because you pay before the item will be shipped.

Me thinks this very old Scottish proverb might apply here " If wishes were horses beggars would ride."
Do a google search for meaning

Yes, a lot has changed, but a suspension is still a suspension.

I think that the permanent suspension was eBay's way of validating this ^^^ statement. Sorry.
