Ebay has closed the order never delivered to Buyer

I sold an item to a buyer and shipped.....never delivered and returned to seller with note that there was incomplete address..... Buyer sent message to ebay complaining never received package;  When seller saw the negative....he notified buyer to correct address and it would be re-shipped to buyer.....buyer sent corrected address to seller on MESSAGES ...resent message telling buyer to change his address on Ebay in order to have it re-shipped .  buyer said to just cancel... Seller could not cancel as bays shows completed.....buyer then said just resend it .....but he states doesn't know how to change his address on ebay app..... SO SELLER has package and can't cancel, can't resend and can't get past the assistant recording...hope this helps...doesn't understand the problem and will not put through to real talking agent???

You should not be dealing with all of this.  If it's returned to you as undeliverable, just refund the buyer minus any non-refundable fees like the shipping costs and your final value fees, and move on.  The buyer is responsible for getting their address right the first time.

The buyer cannot change the address on the order after they have paid, so that part is just a misunderstanding on your part about how this works, but you're really going way too far with this.  Refund and move on. If you don't wish to block them, they can then repurchase the item with the correct address if you relist it.
