No musician, but doesn't that depend on tuning and player?
Sounds like a timewaster to me.

Not possible. Tell the buyer this. Move on to another buyer.
Actually, a ridiculous request since the 'speakers' of a computer/phone along with distance, internet carrier etc. can VARY that SOUND tremendously (I would also tell buyer that as well).

Interesting listings... 🙂
You can record and upload a video of up to 60 seconds (I think) to add to your listing.
Do not use an off-eBay communication path to contact buyers (such as to email attachments or text them), as that reveals your own contact info, opening you up to scam messages that eBay cannot detect, and can also get you billed if eBay suspects that you're arranging an off-site sale.

Not sure how that can work.

You would think someone buying a trumpet (or whatever) knows what a trumpet sounds like.
Maybe they want to hear what YOUR specific trumpet sounds like? LOL

"Buyer wants to hear sound of my instruments"
Buyer is asking to be on your Blocked Buyers list. If I were you, I'd grant this wish.

The next time I'm contemplating buying something, I'm going to ask the seller if I can smell it.

I think Smell-o-Vision was tried and not a big hit.
@dodson4680 - If you really want to deal with this person, it's easy to make a short video with sound and add it to the listing.

Is it the spamjo? You might describe the sound a bit in your listing because I have no idea what it would sound like. You ARE trying to sell it as a usable musical instrument, right?

I remember back when I sold fragrances and buyers wanted to know what the scent smelled like. Sad thing was that some were actually serious. 🤣

That actually sounds a lot better than it looks.

Tell them your instrument(s) were played by the Old Guard Military band (they had those red uniforms and funky hates in the "The 250th Birthday of the U.S. Army Grand Military Parade".. Maybe they can get a rerun of that celebration ..
Actually our grand daughter's husband is in the the Old Guard Army Band played the fife in the parade and also plays a trumpet..

Given the novelty of what you are selling, I don't think it is an unreasonable request. If I had made those and were selling them, I would do a brief demo video and add it in the same location you add photos to the listing. I think your potential buyer is just trying to figure out if they actually sound like an instrument. I've not seen them before and I'm intrigued, and I think I'd want to have an idea of what it sounded like before I dropped nearly $90 with shipping on it.
