I am closed until the 26th and can't wait to open my store again. I am
small and don't make much money now but the thrill of selling is missed.
I can pay my EBAY bills and a few small household bills now but I am
hoping for a great 2026 for ALL!
I feel like the athlete wanting to get back in the game. As I am adding
inventory and touches to my store, I am looking at my emails for sales
that I know won't arrive.
I am on pause for Christmas now as I figure with shipping times that
ship has sailed. I have put my few Christmas items on sale for when I
return on the 26th. Now will look at Valentines Day products for
February. I learned a lot from you guys and lo...
I have put in and won bids for 12 new products to add to my inventory.
So far 0-1 as the first piece arrived with some damage (not from
shipping). The chips were not visible in the pictures and not disclosed
by the seller. I did not pay much for it a...
I am planning time away from 15Dec to 27Dec. My November and December
sales have been great as to the scale of my business and compared to the
earlier time periods. I plan to add inventory and contemplate ways
forward to continue growth. I will evalu...

"Are you okay selling a collectible to a scapper knowing it will be
melted down and lost for ever?"Well you got some opinions so it is
ultimately up to your business decision.
Well we think differently. I have an 1865 greenback dollar bill (the
beginning of federalized money) and 19th century civil war era coins.
Also WWI and WWII coins as well as Vietnam coins and notes. None for
sale. I am 65 years old and my wife is old...
I understand the OP question. Say you have a 18th century Revere silver
fork. Would you want to sell it to be melted down? Or a beautiful
Tiffany piece. Or just maybe a fine piece of art. If all pieces were
melted down we would have no history.
A pawn shop is the worst as you will always get a low price. If you
don't have one get a scale. Most silver will be stamped .925 although
pure will be .999. I bought a coin and jewelry scale from amazon for
smaller items for about $20. Weigh it and m...
