Ebay is using artificial intelligence to scan sellers listings for policy violations and suspending

ebay is using artificial intellegence to scan sellers listings for policy violations.  it is suspending all new listings falsely claiming I am trying to make sales with buyers outside ebay. I have been a seller for 25 years on ebay. I have been relisting many of my same listings over and over every month for years and there has never been a problem before.

These AI Robots have to go!!!! They are screwing up all my listings and causing a lot of problems.

It is not AI

It is you breaking eBay rules.

1.  Start with your user ID, using your .com address is against policy.

Username policy | eBay

2. You list your charity website in the listings I looked at.

Links policy | eBay

3.  You are listing/selling as a supposed charity while circumventing the rules of charity listings.

Charity listings policy | eBay

Your listings are getting pulled because you continue to try to skirt ebay rules.

Your intentions may well be very good. However, if you choose to sell on eBay you must follow the policy and procedures.

Set your account up with the proper credentials for selling as a charity and get yourself set up appropriately if you want to continue on eBay.

'vintage, antique, relic'...might be some certain key words in the title doing it. Just an idea.

Those words have very different meanings.

And your emails are scanned between buyer and seller in eBay for possible violations of trying to sell outside of eBay could be another reason. Strange how eBay is there when that happens only...LOL

@paxhouse.com  it's very likely eBay is taking issue with some of the "extra" text you add in to your descriptions, some of which could be taken as an attempt to direct users off the eBay site.

eBay doesn't care if the external link is going to an "informational" page about your dog shelter and not actually trying to take the sale off eBay....they just don't allow links, period.

Also, having the .com in your user name is a violation of eBay policies.

Yes, I understand you may have gotten by for years with these policies not being enforced, but now you are on eBay's radar (whether by AI or by your account being reported doesn't really matter) and you'll need to change what you are doing to be in compliance with eBay policies if you wish to keep selling.

You already know that you aren’t supposed to put information about your Mexican charity in your listings. You know that you are risking your eBay account. eBay is just getting better at cracking down and identifying listings that are in violation of policy.

What are these 'warnings' in your 'item specifics'....now I can see what is happening.

'warning : it's not nice to rob banks...for more info......."

I would think lookers might be 'report this' your items and not artificial intelligence. Just a thought.

Off site links in the descriptions and showing the TRS badge when you're not a TRS.

Don't know why they would pull your listings?

@paxhouse.com Thanks for the laugh. You do know that saying All Sales Final No Returns No Refunds No Gripes No Whining... is not enforceable right? 🤣 The only person who is going to fall for that is someone who probably shouldn't be allowed to buy anything online. 😂

You also might want to review ebay's charity listing policy:

Charity listings must use the eBay for Charity feature.

You say you've been relisting for months and years no problem.

Well, apparently for a long time you've been getting away but now that may be coming to a halt. If you don't want to be suspended indefinitely clean up your listings. Quit begging for money. Telling buyers they deserve to know  where  their money is going is not a moral obligation.  It is nobody's business what you do with your money. Yes, it is your money, it's no longer their money after they pay.

Yup I get items removed more regularly lately on this, not that I am trying to do anything outside of ebay, but falsely saying certain items require prescriptions when they do not.  They falsely identify over the counter items as prescription because its a category where some items in that category can be prescription items, but others are not.  They are incorrectly assuming all items in a category are.

Haven't really had any on Walmart yet.

A lot of the things you say in your listings make no sense or have no relevance or are contradictory.

"ALL our goods are sent by Registered Mail and personally delivered by our very own favorite postman Juan Valdez. (see photo) Takes 4 weeks for delivery. You must be patient ! ! A tracking number is always provided when sent."

In this particular listing, in the body you say Registered Mail but under specifics, you say Media Mail.  Juan Valdez is a character in a coffee commercial. Why would you say that?  If you are trying to be funny, it doesn't come across that way.

Your name is a website using the .com so that is probably the reason. Eventually ALL your listings will be removed and/or you will be banished from selling on the site until you do what others have stated as well as 'change your name'.
