Former eBay employees. It's allleged when eBay found out what they had been doing they were fired.

The perps were apparently fired and are being prosecuted federally.
What other suggestions for punishment do you have to offer eBay?

I find this part of the press release from eBay to be most interesting.
"The Company noted that the internal investigation also examined what role, if any, the Company’s CEO at the time of the incident, Devin Wenig, may have had in this matter. The internal investigation found that, while Mr. Wenig’s communications were inappropriate, there was no evidence that he knew in advance about or authorized the actions that were later directed toward the blogger and her husband. However, as the Company previously announced, there were a number of considerations leading to his departure from the Company."

I agree. They said that he didn't know in advance but they implied he was complicit when he found out- and the timeline of his departure (Sept 2019) fits with the others being fired. And apparently that was just one of "a number of reasons" he was terminated.

I have to repeat what a friend just said to me-
"They say there's no such thing as bad press, but I disagree."

This isn't true about ALL eBay employees, but it has been my experience that eBay employees are often snooty and seem to think they're above us sellers. Like they walk on water and they think they know what's best and expect us just to go along with it.
This sort of behavior from those who did this is par the course.
