Does eBay shadow ban? Hear me out.

Does eBay do shadow bans? The reason I ask is because I have done eBay on and off for years, and never had what happened to me, happen to me. 

I have never one time had 0 views on any of my items, especially auction listings, but just yesterday I had a bunch of auction listings end with ZERO views.  

Maybe people just are not buying things because of the economy we are in right now, however my list of auctions before this ended with a lot of views (as usual) with most of them selling.

The listings headlines in question had very popular words/themes in them which always draws some looks.  None of them were against eBay policy.

Why would I be shadow banned is the question. I don't know the answer to that, but it happened after I questioned a policy they have about NFTs. Maybe they don't like to be questioned? Or maybe since there is no way to ask the question on site I had to go to facebook and ask the question to them on that platform. Could it be that they checked out my profile on facebook, and didn't like how I think? I am not Right or Left in politics, however I am for very very small government.

If this is the case we are living in scary times, when a merchant site like eBay where a lot of people earn money to live and feed their families is cut off because they think a certain way, or just question a policy.  This is not cool at all. 

Does anyone know if eBay shadow bans? Has it happened to you?

My current Buy it Now listings have views from before I questioned their NFT policy. They haven't gained any new view either...

Doubtful that anyone from eBay is checking you out on FB.  Also doubt that you're being shadowbanned.

At this particular time, there are probably quite a few people who are easing back on their discretionary purchases.  I know I am, both online and at local stores.

'Shadow ban' is not the correct word, or we wouldn't see your listings and your posts, no?

I'd be more likely to think it's the economy that is bringing less/no views for Art now. Hang in there...

You sell NFTs.  Sales of NFTs are down, down, and way down.  Huge supply.  Shrinking demand.  Fad over.  Market collapsed.  Think tulips bulbs, if such things are still taught in history classes in school.  If not, think Beanie Babies.

I noticed it does hide some listings for SIM cards with vanity phone numbers.

Apparently Ebay developed an excuse that listings can not sell 'peoples' phone numbers.

Yet obvious some vanity numbers are allowed; while others not, whilst others 'hidden' from SEARCH RESULTS.

Not to be snarky, but you are a very small cog in Ebays wheelhouse, as we all are. And no, they dont care about your political views,or your questions,and are not checking up on you.They have much bigger fish to fry.

Shadow bans allow your stuff to be there, but people are not driven there. If i send links to people they will see them, and can even buy the items. It just wont show up when people are searching for them.
