Do you block buyers who file false SNADs?

I know sometimes the definition of the term "false SNAD" can differ a bit depending on what seller you ask. But I'm talking about the clean cut false SNADs... the ones who say in the comment "It doesn't fit" or "I don't like it".

I'm getting more of these now. Some of them don't even sound hostile or malicious... but they still are circumventing some sort of fee whether it be return shipping or initial shipping cost refund. Do you block these guys? Sellers who never block anyone for any reason need not reply. I'm directing this to sellers who utilize their BBL. Thanks.

Yes. I'm not quick to block- but I always block those who file SNADs for remorse reasons.

In a heartbeat even before I respond to the return.

"Fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me."  I don't get 'fooled' twice by the same customer, so a 'false SNAD' definitely goes on BBL.

No, free returns doesn't make a difference and some buyers know it, they either choose a random reason out or there isn't an exact reason so they just pick the closest one b.c again it makes no difference.
It is annoying but either way if it has 'function' I have to test every item that is returned, I can never count on the reason for returns buyers give, it's too much hit and miss.

Actually for me (who has free returns and some listings with shipping cost), the shipping cost is retained in remorse returns by default. So filing a false SNAD circumvents that retention. Up until now I haven't blocked these buyers. Yes some come back and buy... and even a few of those have false SNADed again (shame on me I guess, haha). I've blocked a few of these buyers after initial SNAD... but usually there's another reason to add to the mix too. I'm just wondering about if my method needs to be adjusted here or not.

Yes, I have a return policy for remorse.  I don't block those returns, but all SNADs , including false ones, definitely get blocked.

Only YOUR wallet  knows for sure. Not that I would necessarily expect repeat business from a SNAD'er, but as most of my sales are "shipping included", I know that I do not need their business.  More money still in my pocket if the item just sits on the shelf. YMMV

I'm also starting to get increased returns because of Covid delays.

1) Buyer purchases and experience Covid delay. Complains. I give my canned Covid reply.

2) Buyer files INR and either wins (then I file/win appeal after item arrives) or they lose because item arrives.

3) Buyer files return saying they don't need it anymore.

This process has started to happen more recently. It remains to be seen how many of these end up being false SNADs.

I recently had two returns from the same customer saying the size of the stones were not right. We have ten thousand pictures, rulers measuring items in pics, clear description. Person probably bought and regretted it then did a return. Yes I blocked them. Cannot do this kind of business here now. We have to survive and returns in large numbers are killers.

Also our shipping costs which are free to the buyer are very high becuase we have to send Priority with fast and free and insure especially due to the pandemic where some packages are getting lost , sitting is distribution centers for weeks, with INR’s being files etc etc.

We are limited in how we can prevent someone from stealing from us.

BBL is an option here.

Other places it is more difficult.

Today I kicked off my slippers to put on my boots. I did that to walk out to my "camper firewood" rack to retrieve the cash from the overnight sale.

Wood was gone. Cash can was empty.  Crows have taken outgoing packages out of my mailbox annex, but this was the action of other dirty birds.

Yes, why would you want a dishonest buyer to buy from you again and keep abusing the returns at your expenses?
