I know sometimes the definition of the term "false SNAD" can differ a bit depending on what seller you ask. But I'm talking about the clean cut false SNADs... the ones who say in the comment "It doesn't fit" or "I don't like it".
I'm getting more of these now. Some of them don't even sound hostile or malicious... but they still are circumventing some sort of fee whether it be return shipping or initial shipping cost refund. Do you block these guys? Sellers who never block anyone for any reason need not reply. I'm directing this to sellers who utilize their BBL. Thanks.

I have never had anyone file a false SNAD, but if someone were to, I would certainly block their ID.
I may be slow, but I ain't stupid.

I tend to block people who lie or don't take appropriate responsibility for their order. Being dishonest to avoid a fee (and therefore making me pay it) would qualify.
That said, I only have a few people on my bbl. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt when I can. I take it on a case by case basis, and yes, I do notice an uptick of these sort of complaints lately, which gives credit to your theory that it's driven by something other than your/my products or listings. I chalk it up to the economy/covid/lockdown/etc. When these things get worse, people become more stressed.
Doesn't make it right though.

This brings up another question. I've always wondered. Do sellers block ALL customers who return?
Remorse returns.
Legitimate SNAD returns.
SNAD returns you may not agree with.
Totally false SNAD returns.

...............general reply.............
I get more upset with the deadbeat bidders who do not pay.I have plenty of people on my list but I have to say it was a lot easier when the block button was in the dispute consol. It was simple, you got to close the NPB case and file a BBL with one stroke of a key.Its not hard at all to add a buyer to the BBL but is was ay more easier when ebay had the easy button back in the day

Remorse returns. - Almost never
Legitimate SNAD returns. - Almost never
SNAD returns you may not agree with. - SNADs are usually clear cut for me. I don't see much in the gray area.
Totally false SNAD returns. - Always

Nope. I offer free returns. Don't like it? I don't want you to keep something you don't like, send it back on my dime.
The ONLY reason I would block would be if someone did an intentional false SNAD for any reason. I pay return shipping for any reason, there is no reason for a buyer to have to lie. Lie to me, we're done.

I don't necessarily have an itchy BBL trigger finger. I will block anyone who costs me money through no fault of mine or damages my account in any way. I will block when they ask too many questions which are already answered in the listing or questions nitpicky enough to indicate the SNAD waiting to happen. I will block anyone who gets too demanding before or after the sale. I will block anyone who messages that they can't buy but are also on my buyer requirements list for having too many unpaid items.
So in a word? Absofreakinglutely.

Remorse returns. ******Only is they have been rude or serious red flags over the return
Legitimate SNAD returns.******Same as above. If I made mistake and they are upset at me but not overly rude I won’t block. But if the become rude and nasty I will block in fear they could buy again to purposely return another time
SNAD returns you may not agree with.*****Always. I understand damage in shipping or minor discrepancies on item description but if it’s more than that then I block
Totally false SNAD returns. Always....no need to 2nd guess on this one

Yes, after a couple of people came back for a second helping, I do now. It's one of the few times I block.

I always block them but also block sellers who send me awful quality items that I have written to them about the problems. I learned that some sellers and buyers are vindictive. Had sellers before that would buy an item from me just to complain about me and the item even if the item was brand new.

I agree completely with your answer. I have a lot ON my blocked buyer list. To many are unpaid and I will not give them another chance to not pay. Let them move on to another seller.

Yes immediately. I also check feedback buyers have left for their sellers before I ship to gauge if I could potentially have a problem buyer. There was buyer here on the boards today complaining that she was threatened by eBay with penalties for her extortion feedback comment. I looked at the Feedback she had left for her sellers with lots of negatives. Added her to my list too.
