Does this even do anything?

An absolute bold faced lye.

Late deliveries this holiday season will not impact your seller performance rating

Well, it doesn't do anything more if you tag them in post after post after post. It's not like they sit there waiting for someone to tag them. They have other responsibilities than responding to discussion board tags.

Brian's on vacation this month anyway, so he won't be responding.

Absolutely, I see.

Multi national corporations, representation goes on vacation.

Leaves customers hanging during the holiday season.

Absolutely understandable.

Love to do more business with more companies like this one.

I am confused, did Brian let you know he was checking out?

Or is there an in and out board i am missing?

Re: Do not expect eBay to follow there own rules.

There are other members of the community team who are available, as well.

Your hyperbole doesn't help your cause much.

You could try to contact customer service with whatever your complaint is:

Absolutely hand delivered within the advertised handling time.

Seems a sure fire way to get there sellers Below standard: and have to pay an extra 5%

If your post office is not scanning packages as they are received, you need to take that up with your local post master.  They are the ones that have to fix your local issue.

There is no such thing as a "late delivery" defect.

As long as the seller ships within their stated handling time and the package gets scanned within that window, the seller will not get a defect for a late shipment.

Now if your packages are not getting scanned by your carrier, then of course you have a problem that needs to be resolved with your carrier.

Sellers have three ways in which to avoid the Late Shipment Defect.

1.  The package is scanned received by your carrier during your handling time stated on the listing purchased from.

OR

2.  The package gets received within the ETA window stated on the purchase.

OR

3.  The buyer leaves FB for the seller and checks the box saying the item was received on time.

It is ANY ONE of the three ways, NOT all three.

Re: Do not expect eBay to follow there own rules.

You win the internet today.

Obviously Brian should have sent everyone a DM , that he was checking out.

But I guess there has to be some back assinine system, as it has eBay involve in it.

So from this point forward I will check Brian's status, before tagging him.

What about the other two he mentions?

Re: Do not expect eBay to follow there own rules.

Interesting feedback "left for others."

  • 19 negatives for other sellers
  • 2 neutrals for other sellers
  • Less than professional responses to negatives received from buyers
  • "False positive" feedback comments for at least 4 buyers, in violation of eBay policy

Speaks volumes.

Re: Do not expect eBay to follow there own rules.

Not for me. I saw this train wreck coming last month and closed up Dec 1st. Not only do they (eBay) not

get the extra 5% they are getting NOTHING from me. Of course I'm getting nothing also but this shipping

is now a nightmare.
