December will be a month of zero sales as I removed every listing. 8 sales in November did NOTHING to improve my life. Only add to the disappointment & failure of 2023. **** eBay & their favoritism of some sellers over others by burying our listing whether we pay for a store or not. I paid for a store to get appropriate space; not be stuck in a dim basement. This should make plenty of other sellers happy. Those who wished for more to leave so there is less competition. Happy now, @hartungcards ? lol Already at 5 sales on Marketplace for Dec. Probably be the 27th before I see that many here? No loss! IF I get really desperate for cash because other venues manage to, somehow, be worse than eBay, I might try new things. Otherwise, not going to waste my time or energy.

@sakic92710 is buying at Fiddlers this evening, see you all there.

Sorry to hear you are really leaving.
You've been selling on eBay a long, long time. Sometimes a restful break from the distress can be rejuvenating. Perhaps in the future we'll see you listing again.
Hoping you sell all of your current inventory wherever you choose to list it and can invest the profit in dynamic "magical" new merchandise to present at your eBay store grand re-opening.
Seriously, I wish you all the best and a peaceful holiday season.
And a happy and prosperous 2024.

For me something happened in and around November I think of 2021 because after the fall update and the following year my sales were cut in half and have fallen again every year since. I don't have a store, I don't pay for listings, I don't promote listings. Actually sold more art on Print on Demand sites than eBay in the last couple months so have a feeling December on here is going to be a big goose egg! Good Luck on the other sites!

People showed some interest so I added them just in case.

I assume in the item description you mentioned that your product is made in USA (if not then ok) Also, the product wiring is certified by SAE. Also, you hammered it home that other competitors, the product may be a low price but the buyer doesn't know what they are getting because when the electrical wiring is not certified and tested there is always a potential for short circuit / fire hazard. UL, SAE, and other standards are extremely important. Of course, you may have put all this in the description, but all the buyer cares is the price, right? Quantity discounts are good if you can do it.

You can't list it and forget it here. Your items will get buried at the back of the line or just disappear from search. After a small amount of time, listings become stale and so does your traffic.
I listed and forgot 1000+ listings on six accounts for most of this year. My sales have been just fine.

Only 5 & 1 of them sold. 🙂

@sakic92710 wrote:Much appreciated. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. If the last 2 years were like the first 20+, I'd be happy to stay.
For me, by biggest sales weeks on Ebay has always been the couple weeks AFTER Christmas through January and offen well into February. January being my highest month for sales every year.
You may want to consider bringing back a bunch of listings right after Christmas.
