December will be a month of zero sales as I removed every listing. 8 sales in November did NOTHING to improve my life. Only add to the disappointment & failure of 2023. **** eBay & their favoritism of some sellers over others by burying our listing whether we pay for a store or not. I paid for a store to get appropriate space; not be stuck in a dim basement. This should make plenty of other sellers happy. Those who wished for more to leave so there is less competition. Happy now, @hartungcards ? lol Already at 5 sales on Marketplace for Dec. Probably be the 27th before I see that many here? No loss! IF I get really desperate for cash because other venues manage to, somehow, be worse than eBay, I might try new things. Otherwise, not going to waste my time or energy.

I removed all my listings the other day.

Those two sales this year, didn't do much.

I remember seeing this on another thread. Wishing you the best! We both need change, as do several others, & this might be a necessary step. I don't need to focus on a site that steadily lets me down.

Never realized that much focus was required after items were skillfully listed. I mean, you would have to end a listing if it sold somewhere else. I cross list for the best sales I can obtain.

Sorry to hear things came to having to quit selling here. Moving on is your business and I respect that.

You will still come by and start random threads about how eBay is giving us small sellers the shaft, correct?

My ex wife....

My sales are down-even though I cater to a different demographic. Mostly older- financially sable- retired and spending money on their toys sitting in their garage.

Several months back a Chinese company knocked off a competitor of my product. Originally the Chinese knock off was at about the same price point as my competitor. Then all of a sudden there was at least a dozen 'USA' listed sellers that had the product- USA addresses but it was shipped from China. Next thing I knew - was the product was half the price. Oh- it came with no instructions- and no way was the wire SAE ( Society of Automotive Engineers) certified.

I know I have lost some sales even though my product is much better- the low low price of the knock offs are killing the market. What am I gonna do- sue them? I cannot drop my price as my materials have gone up on average over 20% even buying in bigger quantities...

Even though I'm looking at other venues- the Chinese price drop hurts the market- and ebay certainly has not throttled back on the seller listed as US and shipping from China... EBay's answer is to give them another 9% -on average another $50/sale- ain't gonna happen.

Very Frustrating....
