I am devastated, not only because my spouse is very near death, but because I was also told that I will have to start all over with a new ebay account . We have over 11000 feedbacks and have been selling on ebay since the year 2000. I even spoke with a person there who told me they will not transfer a name under any circumstances. How unfair since I am the person behind his ebay. He was the pack and ship part. Has anyone else encountered this, and does anyone have any suggestions how I can keep some reputation on ebay? Thank you.

I am doing that for now, but for tax purposes I cannot continue on his account much longer. Thank you for responding.

This is all so complicated. I suffer from extreme anxiety disorder as well which has gotten worse. I just don't know how to deal with it all, but thank you for your response. It is appreciated.

You can change a name, but not a SS number or birthday. This wouldn't work for tax purposes.. Thank you for your response.

Thanks so much for responding. It is a personal account we set up years ago in 2000 just in his name as I have a job in insurance, so this was his "job" even though we both shared it all those years. I did all the listing, he did the packing and shipping.

Because I have a job at an insurance company, this was our side hustle for some extra bucks. We put it in his name for tax purposes, but we both worked very hard to build our account.

So sorry about your husband. There is a way to transfer listing into another account. It is called inkfrog. Look into that and hopefully that will help you.

Now it's so easy to understand why you want to continue doing it. What a sweet story -so many of us do this alone. I hope it serves as a way to continue feeling his presence.
