I have revised my 1800 ebay.ca listings to conform to new rules and still can not get on BEST MATCH on ebay.com - 95% of my sales are to USA so poor exposure is destoying my business. 50% less sales for 2018. Considering Crazylisters help to improve listings. Thanks billchrest

I'm in USA, I can see your items........ Did a search for one item and found it fine..
What exactly do you mean?

A search for "Art Deco Wallpaper border" brings your listing up first when sorted by "Best Match" on ebay.com

"Best match" doesnt mean you did anything wrong only that these were the items that matched WHAT THE BUYER put in the search terms. You can only anticipate a buyer's search terms so much. Dont make yourself crazy with it. Just accurately describe the item and provide basics of color material size item name brand.

Been there and tried that I noticed no difference using Crazylister. It did not help sales. It takes a heck of a lot of extra time to using Crazylister. And its just another expense not a good idea to take on further expenses if your sales are down. Sites can claim they can improve your sales that fact is they can't! One thing I noticed you don't seem to be shipping to international countires, I only saw one listing up for you. Try reaching out to sell to some other countries to increase sales. Run promotions may also help.

We tried International Sales for approx 5 years with only approx 1 sale a week. Our atverave sale is $25. USPS Priority Shipping was approx $30 and still took up to 3-4 weeks. All of my Negitive Feedback was from International Sales. - thanks billchrest

It is not only what the buyer put in the "search terms". Items are presented to buyers based on what they bought in the past, what they looked for on the net in general, and even what they purchased using their credit or debit cards on the net or in real brick and mortar stores.
Do an experiment. Invite your friends over. Sit on the same sofa, Use different devices some signed out of ebay, others signed in, some on wifi, others on data. Have some devices NEVER used on ebay. Use the same search words.

"General best match"??? No such thing
Your listings will show up on a keyword search.
If a buyer is browsing a category, it will depend on how they have their preferences set (location, etc) and their default sort set (high, low, ending,New,best match). Plus, the AI that eBay uses to determine what they think the buyer may want.
For those sort of general browsing buyers, your items will show as "more from international sellers" after the defaults.
Your items DO show when using a specific keyword search, as shown in my screenshot earlier.

OP - are your items mobile friendly - when I pull up your listings the code shows at the bottom of your description - I don't have that on mine even when I bulk edit to make them mobile compliant. The code should be entered by clicking HTML when modifying a description thru bulk edit.

So when someone chooses to browse the 29,000 listings in that category without using any search criteria whatsoever, how many of your listings would you expect to see on the first page in order for your exposure to be fair?

This is absolutely true.
A border is an accent, chosen after all of the main design elements. Or at least after you have an idea of what your overall look is going to be.
Disclaimer ... I once redecorated my living room to match an area rug ... but WHAT a rug it was ... and that was back in my "money to blow" corporate days 🙂
But ... that rug was found in a B&M while I was browsing for something completely different. It caught my eye and inspired me ... that's hard to do (at least for me) when shopping online.
