I listed several items to sell last week. Three of them sold without an issue but now two of my remaining items are having problems. I have buyers reporting that they see an error stating “item currently unavailable” when they try to buy it. I’ve gone back and revised these listing multiple times trying to find errors and adjust them but buyers are still getting these errors.
The items in question are the Elgato Wave Pre Amp and the Dell Ultrasharp Monitor.
Does anyone know why this is happening?

New sellers have selling limits. You sold a 1K item a few days ago so that's a likely culprit. The proceeds of that sale may be on hold and you'll have to wait 30 days to collect the money and have your selling limit recycle. You can also ask for an increase.

Hi ToySaver,
When I look at my sellers overview page I have not reached my monthly limit on listings or earnings.

Is it a buyer who has bought from you recently having the issue?
Check here: Buyer management | eBay Make sure you don't have the option checked to block a buyer who has purchased X items in the last 10 days.

A buyer just messaged me stating my account was under review for violating EBay’s policy which is apparently why they can’t purchase anything from me.
I was never contacted by eBay about this and have reached out to them to get clarification.

Ebay tells buyers if you are under review for policy violations? Never heard that before, ebay claims they don't tell sellers what they are doing concerning a buyer, so it seems they wouldn't in turn tell a buyer something like that about a seller.

If that isn’t the case and I haven’t reached my monthly limit then what else would be preventing people from buying my items?

That does not sound like a message that eBay would send to a buyer, unless the buyer's account is under review and the buyer misunderstood the message.
If eBay had a problem with your account, eBay would tell you, not your potential buyers.
Are you certain those buyers meet all your buyer requirements? If not, they will not be able to bid, particularly if they do not have a US shipping address or a valid payment method linked to their accounts for bidding.

Both those items are on auction...........so unless they wanted to buy at the Buy it Now price, they'd have to bid on them, not buy.......
Also looks like you don't ship out of the US.........so are the possible buyers international?

I can confirm I tried adding both those items to my cart EDIT: and go to checkout, and got that exact message, so it's not about international buyers or a buyer's account under review as some here are speculating. Honestly, though, I don't see anything on the listings that would cause it. I'd say this is a case to reach out to customer service about:
eBay does not have a phone number you can call directly, but there are several ways to contact them.
You can click this link to chat with an agent, or request a callback if that's offered:
https://www.ebay.com/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
Or you can contact eBay customer service via Facebook, X, or Instagram by sending a private message (don't post publicly on these pages):

For anyone curious about the message, this is what I see when trying to add either to the cart as a Buy It Now EDIT: and go to checkout:

@jonathanbrightlight good catch.........I got it in the cart, but didn't go to checkout.......

Thanks for pointing that out, I misworded it in that comment originally (it is only when I go to checkout that I see the error, not just adding it to the cart).

Thank you everyone for your help. I’m trying to get in touch with AskEbay to see if they can help.
I spoke with someone over the phone on Friday last week and they weren’t able to help. My fingers are crossed.

It could be your selling limit has been exceeded but not updated. Most new sellers have a limit of $500 and you already surpassed that with the $1,000 gaming PC sold last week at auction.
You've never sold before. The feedbacks are all for purchases. Just as a warning, the payout money may be on hold for a month. I hope you joined managed payments.

What is “Managed Payments”?
