Did you mean:

BBE POLICY DISCRIMINATION.

I can't help but to wonder why eBay is so discriminatory on their policies.  They don't follow their own policies.  Buyers aren't required to follow their policies.  Some of it seems to be racism based, and some of it seems to be money based in my opinion.  Gotta admit it is irritating getting threats from eBay if they think I am doing something wrong when I am not, while other sellers doing bad things.  Examples:

ebay bbe policy applies to different regions not all regions in europe , thats againts europeen comission laws in trade act (Geographical discrimination is a type of discrimination based on someone's location or country of origin. Geographical discrimination can take many forms and oftentimes involves a candidate or employee being excluded, denied opportunities, or treated unfairly because of region or location-based factors.)

for example if out of 100 sold items you get 3 return requests you will get restricted

someone does not give you 5 stars on item you sold you will get restricted

if someone wants to scam you , you will get restricted even if you allow scammer to have it free of charge.

there is no failsafes for this, customer suport cant do anything about it even if ebay system has flaws.

i want to be treated equal as others, this bbe policy should apply to everyone or noone at all.

question for ebay employes, do you get threated diffrently at work pleace based on race or country of origin?

Re: BBE POLICY DISCRIMINATION.

I meant your saying that Ebay was discriminating against your country. Obviously, your defect rate speaks for itself.

High defect rates mean that there is a lot of waste, rework, scrap, and customer dissatisfaction, which can increase costs and reduce revenues. Low defect rates mean that there is a high level of quality and customer satisfaction, which can improve productivity, profitability, and competitiveness.Jan 7, 2024

They should rename this board the Waste, Rework, Scrap, and Customer Dissatisfaction Forum.

Re: BBE POLICY DISCRIMINATION.

You are not understanding how you were restricted and ignoring a key questions in regards to your "seller detail level."

When you say:

"if someone opens a return request it counts instantly as BBE" Only if the return case is not resolved by the seller.

"if someone does not give you all 5 stars on item sold its instantly on bbe policy list." This is false. There is no truth to it and multiple people have already said this.

"if return request was closed by buyer, it still counts as bbe" False.

"that stays for 3 months out of 100 sold items you have 3 bbe cases you will be restricted." True however we need to figure out why you are being restricted. Look at your seller level. Review it.

Re: BBE POLICY DISCRIMINATION.

You are being treated equally as a seller with five defects.

On eBay, a seller's transaction defect rate should be no more than 2% within an evaluation period. A seller with five defects may be penalized for non-performance, even if their overall defect rate is lower, if the defects are associated with more than four different buyers

Re: BBE POLICY DISCRIMINATION.

You should make a claim for geo-blocking in EU.

Dear Sirs,

Sellers from some countries in the European Union, such as Portugal, Greece, and the Czech Republic etc, are being discriminated from eBay platform of eCommerce and accounts being restricted under the new policy.

eBay has launched a policy called "Service Standard Policy — Bad Buyer Experience Rate." This policy is basically explained at this link: https://export.ebay.com/en/fees-regulations-policies/ebay-policies/bber/#What-you-need-to-know/

In other words, sellers in some European countries, such as Portugal, are being affected by these restrictive selling standards, while, for example, sellers a few kilometers away in Spain are not subject to these criteria. When they are making exactly the same type of sales and facing the same issues and business.

Selling rules and rate experience are not evaluated in the same way for all sellers globally, so specific rules apply depending on the seller's location. And there is no justification for such discriminatory rules. This creates inequality among sellers. This distorts the functioning of the market by protecting eBay users in certain areas of the world, while punishing others with draconian, unattainable measures. With this policy, eBay aims to eliminate small sellers from these countries

Ebay users (seller and buyers) in EU should be treated as equal as others, this BBE policy from eBay should apply to everyone or no one at all. And don't be fooled, these measures are not intended to maintain high standards in customer service, they are intended to eliminate salespeople from certain areas of the globe. Otherwise, would be applied worldwide. If they are so good and fair  why only being applied in specific countries? There is thousands of complain worldwide regarding this matter and can be seen with a simple google search.

This policy from eBay constitute a new form and more sophisticated of geo-blocking that is very common problem in e-commerce platforms.
