I can't help but to wonder why eBay is so discriminatory on their policies. They don't follow their own policies. Buyers aren't required to follow their policies. Some of it seems to be racism based, and some of it seems to be money based in my opinion. Gotta admit it is irritating getting threats from eBay if they think I am doing something wrong when I am not, while other sellers doing bad things. Examples:
ebay bbe policy applies to different regions not all regions in europe , thats againts europeen comission laws in trade act (Geographical discrimination is a type of discrimination based on someone's location or country of origin. Geographical discrimination can take many forms and oftentimes involves a candidate or employee being excluded, denied opportunities, or treated unfairly because of region or location-based factors.)
for example if out of 100 sold items you get 3 return requests you will get restricted
someone does not give you 5 stars on item you sold you will get restricted
if someone wants to scam you , you will get restricted even if you allow scammer to have it free of charge.
there is no failsafes for this, customer suport cant do anything about it even if ebay system has flaws.
i want to be treated equal as others, this bbe policy should apply to everyone or noone at all.
question for ebay employes, do you get threated diffrently at work pleace based on race or country of origin?

Are you responding to the cases for return requests? Have you canceled any transactions? Stars are not used to restrict sellers anymore.

"question for ebay employes, do you get threated diffrently at work pleace based on race or country of origin?"
Ebay employees are not going to answer your question here. You are in a community of your peers where you ask questions and for advice about the site.
Check your seller detail level in your seller hub. If your level is below you will get restricted. When it came to those 3 returns what you probably did was you fought the returns and lost which Ebay ruled in the buyers favor is that correct? If yes then your seller level will go down under resolved cases. You then made the mistake which has nothing to do with discrimination.
What makes you think buyers aren't required to follow Ebay policy? That's just an assumption.

I always respond to buyers, i always try to find best solution on cases.

Sorry, I simply do not believe that.

if someone opens a return request it counts instantly as BBE
if someone does not give you all 5 stars on item sold its instantly on bbe policy list.
if return request was closed by buyer, it still counts as bbe
that stays for 3 months
out of 100 sold items you have 3 bbe cases you will be restricted.

Yes, I've also heard that racism directed at Lithuanians is a growing problem worldwide.

Did you respond to the actual cases and offer return shipping and refund after return? Did you cancel any transactions? This has nothing to do with racism, but to your seller performance.

i have proof that this happens, i have folder on my desktop with photos.
customer did not opened return or refund requests , left me a positive feedback he did not press all 5 stars and i got bbe case.

yes , i do. last bbe case was with customer who changed hes mind about purchase , he opened return request i provided him with a return label from FedEX and it still counts as bbe case.

Have you checked your dashboard to see how many defects you have? That should tell the story.
11-05-2024 02:20 PM
everyone should be treated equally on the platform. dont yo agree on this ?
11-05-2024 02:23 PM
Of course, its too easy to play the race card tho. How many defects do you have?

i have 5 out of 100
2 out of them are ebay system failure, ebaymag overridden my shipping policies allowing people from different continents to access my inventory i was speaking to ebay customer support about this , they cant do anything about it
1 is becouse customer did not leave all 5 stars ( i have proof for that )
last two cases was from people who wanned free stuff, i let one to keep goods and gave a full refund.

ebay is a publicly traded company, everything is 100% based on what is the best financially for ebay, it is a legal requirement.
As far as ebay having racist policies, that is laughable, I get so tired of people who shout racism every time something does not go their way with no evidence
