An Abrupt and Complete Stop in Sales: Why? What's Going On?
The baby needs formula!
The light bill needs to be paid!
The mortgage needs to be paid!
The cupboards are getting bear!
..........................................................I do not have time for these abrupt and complete stop in sales. Sheesh!
PS: I am not referring to this acct.

eBay is intentionally hiding listings from potential buyers "for better shopping experience". It is now included in User Agreement.
Looks like the platform is coming to its death - no sales for me either, and it is not just a typical summer slowdown - I had never seen anything like what`s going on on eBay recently. New algorithm and force of GTC (which is also correlated to no or slow sales) are the reasons for no sales on eBay.

I think so too ,, death bed time,, probably . What's happening to everyone's sales doesn't make any sense . I've got stuff with multiple watchers here but they just sit there week after week. I've lowered prices , bumped up the promotions and sent really low offers on the most popular items ,, but nothing,, nothing works . Yet these very same items are selling like hotcakes on other selling sites . Matter of fact there's one particular design of a necklace that I make that sells within an hour or two -- but over there ,, not here,, it's never here anymore . I just sold another that I just listed last night -- over there . I agree with the OP and everyone else that the lights have gone out . And since this slump has lasted for months and months now perhaps they never will again . Hoping for the best . Tulips

It has been much slower for sales this year. Despite doing everything you know to do to tweet a listing. Do not know why at this point but as with a lot of us. It is nerve wracking. Hoping for a pick up with the next quarter, but It’s been down for us at least two quarters from last year.

I was a very frequent buyer here for 9 years and did an abrupt and complete stop in buying. There are a number of reasons, but all point back to eBay.
When you do the math:
Buyers Leaving + Search Not Working + Too Many High Volume Sellers + Listings Not Always Visible + Listings Buried + GTC Mandate + (Technical Issues x m) + (Glitches x n) + New Competition = Unhappy Sellers
m = Number of Technical Issues
n = Number of Glitches
I sure hope eBay wakes up soon ...

Tell us a listing you say Ebay is hiding from you so we can squash that rumor.

We have seen a significant drop in sales since GTC as well. Cannot totally figure out why this coincided with the steep drop off.

Relying on internet sales to feed a family and pay bills is risky unless you have very high demand items and great prices Maybe a part time job to help offset finances ?

Rumor? Read the updated User Agreement and hundreds of complaints from sellers about this problem on the board if you want to "squash that rumor".

There are so many issues, but what eBay thinking about when it intentionally hides listings from eBay buyers? How is it going to make money if items get unsold? Is Grab The Cash (c) greg5000 is the new money maker source?
I will not be listing anything until eBay starts displaying my items to buyers as it used to be. Paying listing fees and not been exposed to buyers is ridiculous and doesn`t make any sense to waste time and money to contribute to eBay`s bottom line in form of listing fees and nothing in return.

When I searched for "hidden listings" I found 240 listings.
When I searched for "nothing" I found 33 listings. And, sellers are actually selling Nothing.
When I searched for "coolections" I found 42,655,522 listings!
I couldn't make this stuff up ... go check it out. Only at eBay.

If you are uncomfortable in specifying any specific listings, just tell us how many listing you have posted. That will serve the same purpose.
