Lowering Price

I'm getting emails suggesting that I lower the price by 5%.But when I click "Lower the Price" it takes me to a screen with no "Edit Your Listing" button.If I edit the listing normally will it still send a message to the potential buyer?

Why can't we search on history of items like we use too? I get only a certain number of searches and then it flags me I have max out for today? This is crazy!!!!
