Refund Responsibility

Customer asked for a refund and Im not sure if he is entitled to one under Ebays rules. I posted a vintage empty paper package, and the buyer assumed it was unopened and brand new. I admit that I failed to specify that it was an empty package, but I also did not specify that it was unopened. I will link the original posting.

Take the return. Yes you should of listed in the description it was empty. We do not know what the buyer assumed or not. Even if you did they can just open a INAD case.

Looked like a cool vintage item. Get it back and relist!

Refund Responsibility

I agree with @chevymontecarlo88

just accept the return and refund...too ambiguous a description (or lack of.....)

if they open an INAD you will have to anyway (which it qualifies for)

You should be able to resell it easily with a better description....

Yes, you'll have to accept the return and refund the buyer.

Have a great day.

Of course you refund.   What kind of collector would think that it is an empty envelope???  The definition of "pack" implies that there are contents inside the packaging.

That's like selling a "pack" of chewing gum, but only delivering the exterior wrapping.

I too looked at it and yes, you need to refund.    It was your fault.

You need to refund them 100% of their money and pay to get your item back if you want your empty envelope back.

I could tell it was empty and not a full unopened pack of cards.

It in no way looks like a sealed pack nor would one fit in a top loader like that.
