Just curious

I bought a 3/4  sleeve Raglan Baseball Mens shirt in medium from a seller recently.  I liked the color and since it was a REGLAN 3/4 sleeve Baseball shirt I knew it would fit because I've bought many shirts like this by Raglan and they still all fit perfectly.  Even the measurement chart agreed with my choice.   When this one arrived it was waaaaaay too tight.  Even the sleeves were so tight they would've ended up cutting off my circulation had I kept it on.  I couldn't figure out why the difference until I looked at the tag attached.  It WAS NOT a RAGLAN.  It was by NEW LIGHT.  To return it I have to pay shipping.  I don't think that's right that I must pay shipping to return it when they are false advertising?  I've contacted the seller many times with no response.  Now what?

TOO EVERYONE: Thanks for all the input.  Here is the item number (202684967416) and here is the order number 25-08998-30792.  It shows I order medium. Don't look at the starting post description for the size look at what size I ordered on the order page.  I even went by their size chart.  And nowhere in the item description does it say NEW LIGHT.  It also says MENS.  I've ordered these from other sellers in medium and they've all fit.  This one fit totally different.   Really small like it's for a kid.  All I know is that I didn't get what I'm used to getting for this style ... with the use of the word Raglan Baseball shirt in the item description and even the photos they used.

@luckykey3, thanks for posting the item #.  www.ebay.com/itm/202684967416

That listing states "No brand". The description says it is a raglan shirt, which is the style of the sleeves, not a brand. The pictures clearly show that it is a raglan-style shirt.

If you wanted a "Reglan" brand shirt, that is not what was described in this listing. The word "Reglan" doesn't appear anywhere in the listing.

The size chart says that a size Medium is 38", which is very small compared to American sizing. However, if the shirt either measures 38", or fits up to 38", then in either case, that would be described accurately.

I'm sorry, but it seems that you were mistaken about what you thought you were buying, but it looks as though the description was accurate.

Re: Just curious

Does the auction state that it is a Raglan shirt? If it does and you received another brand, you are perfectly justified in filing an NAD against the seller. He will have to pay for return shipping.
You could be nice and send him an email in case he wishes to avoid it....but you don't have to.
Bait & Switch tactics are Facebooks forte....but we don't tolerate it here.

Re: Just curious

Why not just open an NAD case if it was advertised as one brand and you received a different one?

So there is actually a brand called "Raglan"? To me, a seamstress with many years of experience, "raglan" is a type of sleeve, usually where the sleeve is cut in one with the body of the garment with no shoulder seam.  Raglan sleeves usually are looser and fit differently.

Re: Just curious

I didn't  know Raglan was a brand name. I thought it was a sleeve style.

Re: Just curious

That was me too.  Evidently it IS a brand.  Wouldn't that be confusing, like having a brand of shirt called "Sleeveless"?

Re: Just curious

Is this the item? If so, the brand is listed (in IS) as New Light and the sleeve style is raglan.

Re: Just curious

@luckykey3

"Raglan" is a style, not a brand name. Any company can make a raglan shirt.

I looked through the filter for brand name, and there is no filter for "Raglan" as a brand name.

If @albertabrightalberta located the correct listing, the pictures on that listing clearly show what the raglan style looks like. As @soh.maryl said, it refers to the cut of the sleeves.

Re: Just curious

Raglan may be a brand name, but well before that it was a sleeve style. However it seems the brand you were looking for was Reglan, different spelling.

Re: Just curious

Ok, so others stated that the brand is NOT raglan. Did you get the correct size? Is it possible that the shirt is for a child? If yes, open an item NOT described case.    If everything matches the description and you do not want the shirt, then it's on you to pay the return shipping.

Re: Just curious

I can't say much on the size but Raglan is only referring to a sleeve length

Re: Just curious

Raglan refers to the way the sleeve is set into the body of the shirt.
