Hi guys- FedEx and UPS have both announced changes to signature requirements for the time being. Will eBay take this into consideration if an INR claim is filed on items over $750?
This is a fluid situation so I understand if you don't have an immediate answer but it would be great if you could find out and get back to us.

When will eBay start cracking down the price gouging that is going on? Check the spelling of "Hand Sanitisers" on these listings. Some of these prices are ridiculous and it seems that nothing is being done.
Here is just one listing for 2 12oz bottles of equate hand sanitizers and the seller is a U.S. based seller.
This is an auction and has over a day and a half left and the bid is up to $54.00.
Let's get this price gouging taken care of as I am sure that eBay does not want to be a facilitator in this action by crooked sellers.

What is the proper procedure to cancel a sale if we get sick or shipping services shut down? How will we avoid defects when eBay can't even remove a defect on my account for a previous order EBAY TOLD ME TO CANCEL!!!

I have a new "alert" in my ebay seller hub. I find it so unnecessary to use the task module for an item that is not required. I cannot remove the alert unless I send offers to all of the eligible items. It is on all of my ebay selling accounts.
The issue I have is that the task box generally is a quick view for me to see what really needs to be done, and has up until this point been used for "item waiting to be shipped" a real task or alert that needs to be done.
By adding the alert in RED it makes it appear to be a task that sellers need to do right away.
I wish ebay would reconsider using my task module for stuff like this.

I understand that many companies are trying to operate with a smaller task force because of distancing. Are tech support issues still being worked on at this time (remotely) or is that department more or less on hiatus save for larger site-wide issues until this situation normalizes?
I'm asking because of an open ticket I have and I would like to know if I should expect no updates for a potential very long time.

I just wanted to mention that when I relist items in bulk, the items go through, but there is a system error message quite often.
Today I notice the new feature that lets me know how many listings are eligible for sending offers. It is uploading very slowly and I do not know what the message after it is uploaded means that states "1 interested buyer received offer" or something to that effect. Does that mean that I may have previously sent an offer before this feature was made available and if there are multiple people watching that only the ones who were new watchers received it? Also receiving this message when clicking on an item before providing offer.
Hi @rosevelyn, I'll get this error reported for review so we can figure out what is going on. As for the message you are seeing, this is letting you know how many new offers were sent when you submitted - it wouldn't give you a historical total, only reference the offers sent with the most recent submission. Since some buyers have declined to receive these kinds of offers and some simply aren't eligible for offers on specific listings, it is normal to see a smaller number of offers sent than your current number of watchers for that listing.
That being said, it does sound like there are some technical issues coming up when you are going through this process. I'll be sure to test this out and touch base with you via email if I need any more detail from you to investigate.

We can't really predict how the virus is going to effect our businesses, but with the emphasis on social distancing and the closing (hopefully temporary) of many "sourcing" locations, those of us with a lot of unlisted inventory will likely use much of our time to list. At the same time, we may see a decline in sales. Looking at my own situation (and I suspect I am far from alone), I suspect this could mean many of us will hit our "free" store listing limit rather quickly. This would be a good time for ebay to re-consider its stance on creating additional store levels. Or perhaps ebay could provide "add-on" listing packages....for a set monthly fee, for example, a Premium store could add 500 more listings (or what have you). Perhaps you could pass this idea on to the appropriate team?Another suggestion: Some sellers might find it necessary to downgrade or eliminate their store subscriptions. Perhaps ebay would be willing to waive the penalty for those sellers?
Hi @my-cottage-books-and-antiques, there aren't any plans that I'm aware of. I'll be sure your feedback is heard though!

I too wonder if eBay would give us some free basic listings. It would cost them nothing, but be good PR. Or discount the store subscriptions with no switching/canceling penalties all year.

Have searched the seller help pages in vain looking for an answer to this one.
Hi @alcoforever - I definitely recommend reporting the buyer through the opened return and contacting Customer Support so they can review the situation. If you offer free returns or are Top Rated and offer 30 day returns you would be also able to issue a less than full refund.
Can I take your answer to mean you do not recommend filing fraud reports with ic3.gov, usps.com and both police departments?

One of the perks of being a hoarder. Even if this goes on for a year there is no way I could ever process all of my inventory I have stacked up 😛 Hopefully eBay will do some sort of listing fee relief. It would be the cheapest way for eBay to get some good will.

Hello,
Regarding 'send offers' to watchers:
Do these offers go to the same watchers they were previously sent to as well as any new watchers?
In other words, would the same watcher receive a 2nd, 3rd, etc offer?
I don't want to appear as harassing any watcher by repeatedly sending them offers.
Thank you and stay safe

Hi @greg213213, we are actively reviewing for potential violations for removal and I can assure you that spelling variations and intentional errors are not something that would prevent us from locating these listings and taking action. You are welcome to report any concerns you see directly from the listing. You can use the following options to get these reported with the appropriate priority: Prohibited and restricted items> Illegal items and items encouraging illegal activity> Other illegal activity concerns
