sixbit, i may have missed it, but can you provide a link to the 6 month free trial and 14.99 month program?

I have used TL for many years and will miss it's ease of use - I am trying SixBit and it seem to work OK although I haven't uploaded yet so will see tomorrow night with that.
My problem right now is the fact that when I try to open TL eBay keeps saying oops that is not a match with my eBay account name and I can't open TL - so I have not been able to transfer my 600 listings that are saved in Turbo Lister I was wanting to do this before the July deadline.
Hello @snapy64 ,
Thank you for your post and letting us know that your Turbo Lister isn't recognizing your eBay account name. There could be a few reasons why this is happening but the first one you want to troubleshoot is that your Authorization token has expired and your Turbo Lister wants you to refresh it.
If you continue to have this problem, reach out to our Turbo Lister support team (Advanced Apps) at turbodata@ebay.com

I think the SixBit fictional character was from the Mario Bros. game.
Hi @msmaggie060! I'm a HUGE Mario fan! Mario isn't the inspiration though.

Good afternoon everyone! We are excited to chat with you today and to kick it off, we have a prize for the first person to reply with the answer to a trivia question: What fictional character was the inspiration for SixBit's name?
Alice in Wonderland ...
@mr_lincoln 😃 - unfortunately that is not the answer we're looking for. Thanks for playing! (if you're being a bit snarky, i'm laughing)

Is SixBit similar to Turbo Lister in features and functionality? Or is there any other software that's very similar to TL?
@jasports2013 Yes, SixBit is very similar to Turbo Lister. It's the most similar software available. It runs on the desktop like Turbo Lister and we've created a Quick Reference Guide to highlight any differences on our Turbo Lister landing page at sixbit.com/tllanding.

Hello,
I've been using Turbo Lister since 2007.
I can create and store listings.
I can rotate my summer and winter listings.
Now you're making us pay for all the listings that we create.
This is not a good move for eBay.
Is there a free alternative that we can use ?
Thanks for your comments and for being a long-time Turbo Lister user. We appreciate your concerns. eBay's only other free alternative is its feed program called File Exchange. You can find out more about it here: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-tools/file-exchange?id=4096&st=12&pos=1&query=File%20Excha...
If you prefer a free offline program, you might perform an internet search to see what 3rd party services will work with eBay for free.

That's very good to hear but will I be able to transfer listings that are not active and have not been active for anywhere from 3 months to 10 years?
@fragranceplusbeautyfindsYes, if you can export these items into a Turbo Lister CSV file, you can import them into SixBit.

@simply-the-best-for-you wrote:In addition to the cost, there's an another issue with SIxbit - it's 3rd party software! As any software developer knows (like myself) you always want to stay away from 3rd party software b/c sooner or later the communications level between the co's that allow for Sixbit to fully support all of Ebay's constant changes, now, will eventually disintegrate or the co will be bought out or whatever. There are ALWAYS issues with 3rd party software.
I'd like to know from Sixbit, how you'll be able to continue to support any new changes to Ebay listing, 10 years down the road when you are no longer their favorite mistress, so to speak?
@simply-the-best-for-you Good question! It gives me a chance to brag. You may be sorry you asked. 🙂 We actually started by writing a program called AuctionAssistant in 1997, under our original company called Blackthorne. It was the first tool for eBay sellers. From there, we created AuctionAssistant Pro which prompted eBay to purchase Blackthorne. We then spent ten years developing eBay's Seller's Assistant, and eBay Blackthorne. We were actually the first team to use the eBay API. After a layoff, we started SixBit and eventually when eBay Blackthorne went away, we took over those users. In short, we've been doing this since the very beginning, we have a very good relationship with eBay and we don't have plans to go anywhere.

As to this: "The program will remain on your hard drive until you uninstall it. As long as the program is still installed you'll be able to see your inventory there."
So are you saying we will still be able to log into our TL? So if need be we can look at our listings and at least copy and paste the info?
@a*river*runs*through*it Yes, you will still be able to open Turbo Lister, go to your inventory and view your descriptions and titles etc and copy and paste as needed.

Trying to decide if SixBit is worth paying $35 a month for. I only average 130+- sales a month and manage 200 listings on average. Most of my listings are one offs. I currently use eBay shipping due not trusting other systems to upload tracking properly. I never used TL, but not sure if the mid tier of SixBit is worth the money for me. I don't think the lower SixBit tier would be worth it for me. Can the accounting tools accurately populate sales numbers in a custom spreadsheet I have setup? Are the automation functions like photo editing and templates good enough to save me 2+ hours of my time a month?@gwzcompsWe do have the Home and Hobby edition and a special Turbo Lister Starter Edition that should cover your basic listing and order processing needs. You can export your sales information via CSV for external use or use the Profit Loss reporting available in the other versions. At any time, you can upgrade or downgrade your subscription to better fit your usage.
Thanks I am aware of the Home and Hobby edition. From what I can tell that is nothing more than a basic listing tool? Most of my listings I just recycle text so I am not aware of what benefits that tier provides. Also when looking deeper I find it outrageous I have to pay for a subscription fee and I have to pay extra to remove your branding from my business? I try to keep my listings as clean as possible and don't want unnecessary stuff on them. That is pretty off putting and enough to make me not want your software. Kinda feels like the scummy move car dealers pull when they try to put all their badges on your car you paid for.
@gwzcomps The SixBit team has been developing eBay software since the late nineties. From our very beginning we realized that a key to our ability to get our name out was the tagline at the bottom of the listings. This has allowed us to spread the SixBit name which also helps us keep our prices low. In fact, we have not had a price increase in the last 7 years. We do understand that some people don't like the tagline so we do offer an option to users. We hope you can understand our reasons.

Yes, we support creating custom compatibility sets and importing them from eBay's catalog.

@greatlakessilver wrote:Yes, I worked with the SixBit support staff after so many issues starting and migrating and I thank Dustin for the help. APPRECIATED. Will this program be able to add the shipping cost feature to each of the listings. we could not locate it during the interface session. The support videos are also help, but as I read all the issues, everyone seems to be experiencing the same problem of time. Do we list and sell or spend time learning a new system which can help in the long run??
Suggest a weekly tutorial session with talking and video to get everyone up and running in a systematic fashion!!
Also the support fee schedule is pretty hefty. Usually that should be included with the cost of the new program.
Like the Dell support system. Yes it costs a little on a yearly basis, but you have a problem, they take care of it immediately 24/7/365 plus the talk to you - not just typing interface. Kind of like this forum. I saw many issues because people want to speak and listen to someone - not watch all the typing. Good luck, I am just looking for a system to store my listings for now and then maybe learn how to make it work much better. message me anytime.
Hi @greatlakessilver ,
Glad to hear Dustin was able to get you running with SixBit. We tried weekly tutorials before, but have had better success with individual tutorials and videos to handle walkthroughs.
