I think the SixBit fictional character was from the Mario Bros. game.

You are having a syncing problem. You need to break your permissions to TL and then re-allow them. Takes about 10 minutes top.

Me too. But since SixBit found out how BAD it is for me...they've re-started my 6-month trial as of yesterday !!
Complain & get things done, maybe ?? SixBit doesn't even know what is wrong with their program.

Why doesn't eBay just monetize TurboLister itself and undercut SixBit? Don't discontinue something that has worked for years - INVEST MORE INTO IT! It is a good product! We understand it costs money to support and update TurboLister so charge us $8.99 a month and save everyone the headache of dealing with this mess. Business 101 - make money and don't make your customers angry.

In addition to the cost, there's an another issue with SIxbit - it's 3rd party software! As any software developer knows (like myself) you always want to stay away from 3rd party software b/c sooner or later the communications level between the co's that allow for Sixbit to fully support all of Ebay's constant changes, now, will eventually disintegrate or the co will be bought out or whatever. There are ALWAYS issues with 3rd party software.
I'd like to know from Sixbit, how you'll be able to continue to support any new changes to Ebay listing, 10 years down the road when you are no longer their favorite mistress, so to speak?

@pixphoto wrote:Know what's funny? Just think of the revenue eBay & SixBit will make out of this venture and they can't afford a webinar? Unfortunately, They know already what the questions will be and just like the, "Managed Payments" webinar, that are supposed to save sellers money, they Don't want you to know the truth.
Wait for it.... It will come
I don't think there is a conspiracy here. I just think eBay got tired of supporting turbolister for free. I think the people in charge of the site don't understand the value add it gave to some users. With as poorly as the site runs on the back end I wonder how much revenue eBay is missing out on. I know personally if I could get listings up faster I could sell more product. This is a general failing on eBay's part though and is nothing new. The site will always be plagued with issues, because the stockholders are driving the car.

Lili,
So We confirmed that Turbo Lister's export isn't working with SixBit so SixBit can't import your pictures from Turbo Lister. In that respect, you're rather dead in the water. You will have to add the pictures to your items manually unfortunately, and while I was watching SixBit was behaving on the picture adding, until the images disappeared, that is. I can safely say that images disappearing wouldn't be SixBit's fault, for what that's worth.
Force as New Listing (Don't Relist if Available) is a tool for separating listings from all the old information, like Watchers, sales performance, and other things like that. SixBit also keeps tabs on information like that for SixBit meta-data collection. Forcing as a new listing is useful for sales performance over select times, since the listing is separated from all the other listing history. You do not have to do it, but it also is not harmful to enable. I would recommend against it, just because there's no use for it unless you want specific listing data. Entirely up to you, however, as it won't hurt.
Similarly, resending pictures is for when you want to update pictures on a website. It's largely a tool for managing and reordering the images you have uploaded. Resending pictures will delete the images from the online site and replace them with the ones you have on the item. This is largely harmless as well, but it will make submitting items take longer as it has to reupload each image each time you list.
So for both Force as New and Resending Pictures, you do not have to have either enabled.
At this time, we do not know when eBay will charge you for listings. We do not have access to the API for that information, as eBay keeps that a guarded secret. On that note, however, I have informed the developers of a "Submitted since" option so you can track your insertion-free listings and see how close to the limit you are.
And the last thing we talked about was the select all function. Windows has this as a feature, so we piggyback off of it. When in a grid or any field, you can hold down the Control button and press A at the same time. This will select all the items or values or information in the grid or field you are in.
I believe that is a summation of everything we talked about, but I can answer any more questions you have.
Thank you for your patience,
Clay McCarty

@weaverliliThis is an issue with the Turbo Lister export of Picture links. We've seen this with seller with multiple accounts and aren't able to pull the Pictures from the Local Storage based on the locations given.

@weaverlili wrote:SixBit blames Turbo Lister for problems in exporting photos.
@weaverlili There is an issue with the links to pictures in Turbo Lister not being correct when there are multiple seller ids being used. This isn't affecting all users. We've had a discussion on this issue and have come up with some ideas that might make it possible to bring those pictures in. Please reach out to Steve Lea in support to set up a time to take another look at the picture import.

You better do it know, because you will need to MANUALLY import all of your photos !!
That's what I had to do

at one point there was a discussion o 'feelers' put out there about ebay offering an offline tool similar to turbo lister that could be used for a monthly fee....any more information or input on that possibility?
Hi @thedustyloft20, there aren't any plans that I'm aware of for eBay to offer an offline tool.

Yes, I worked with the SixBit support staff after so many issues starting and migrating and I thank Dustin for the help. APPRECIATED. Will this program be able to add the shipping cost feature to each of the listings. we could not locate it during the interface session. The support videos are also help, but as I read all the issues, everyone seems to be experiencing the same problem of time. Do we list and sell or spend time learning a new system which can help in the long run??
Suggest a weekly tutorial session with talking and video to get everyone up and running in a systematic fashion!!
Also the support fee schedule is pretty hefty. Usually that should be included with the cost of the new program.
Like the Dell support system. Yes it costs a little on a yearly basis, but you have a problem, they take care of it immediately 24/7/365 plus the talk to you - not just typing interface. Kind of like this forum. I saw many issues because people want to speak and listen to someone - not watch all the typing. Good luck, I am just looking for a system to store my listings for now and then maybe learn how to make it work much better. message me anytime.

Prior to TurboLister, ebay had acquired and utilized, for fee to the seller, SAPro from Blackthorne. Two questions from a previous Blackthorne user: 1) Does ebay have any thoughts or plans of acquiring SixBit, what with the demise of TurboLister, and 2) if not, will ebay be compensated for accommodating SixBit?
@gracieallen01 Thanks for your comments and questions. 1)There have been no talks on this subject; and 2) There's no financial support that we are aware of. Sixbit is a great option for sellers and we're confident that many members will be able to find the solutions they're looking for as Turbo Lister's support ends.
