We can see many priority choices from the sold page clicking print shipping label for 1 item. When we use the bulk tool you can't see more than 2 choices of priority.
Yesterday one item could go flat rate env but using bulk it only showed us 2 priority choices and neither was the flat rate env priority

Hi @vrykalak, the renewal time could vary if there are any indexing delays, and it sounds like this is likely the case here.

These were listings that had only been posted once, never renewed, so the end time should have been approximately the time of posting.

@vrykalak if you see this happen again then please feel free to take a screenshot and provide it to us so we can take a closer look. Thanks!

I've been looking at a friends new seller's hub order's page and it sucks.  Please don't force me to use it.  Way too many clicks to get basic functions done.  No way to customize it. No way to get around it.  I might be better off managing my invoices  through a third party like paypal or shopify.

Why do you work so hard to make it hard for sellers to do their jobs???

Hi @shilohpostcards - we want you to have the tools you need to manage your eBay business. If you're missing tools, links or quick ways to do something I recommend using the 'Comments?' link in the upper right corner to let the Seller Hub team know what you're looking for.

While not everyone's suggestions can be adopted, I know they work hard to make it a page you can use quickly, effectively and without too much headache. Thanks!

Re: Community Chat, June 19 @ 1:00 pm PT - General Topics

Previous chats mentioned that everyone now has the ability to send offers to watchers. I have seen it on someone else's ebay app but I cannot find it anywhere on my app or in my account where I can add this feature so I can also use it. Please advise how I can add this to my account. Thanks.

Hi all,  Just a quick question, I sell coins and want to know  if eBay has an affiliate site picclick.com? I do random pricing searches and this site has what appear to be all eBay listing...just curious.

Thanks

Hi @kus1617, that's not a site I'm familiar with. It looks like someone created the site using our API's, which is fine, but it is not an eBay owned site.

Hi @vrykalak - yes, that's the current experience for Good Til Cancelled listings. We announced that we're moving to a monthly renewal date in the Spring Seller Update. You can review that here. Thanks!

Request a return
Why do you want to return this item? Doesn't work or defective.

we do believe that those two words shouldn't be together, a part doesn't work for your system doesn't mean it's defective.

this is true with parts we sell, for example an internal wifi wireless card available in standard original version,
and oem version with oem part number such as dell/ibm/toshiba,and hp, though the model number for all are the same,
for example you can't use dell oem in IBM or HP systems due ti white list, even we note this issue in all our listings, still few customers buy the wrong one, and for the reasons we stated will not work, returning it is fine with us , when customer want to choose the reason, and you can't blame him, he choose doesn't work, we end loosing shipping, and defect.I can forward you many returns that fail under this circumstances, and customer either end getting the correct part or acknowledged the issue, I would suggest removing the word doesn't work, and
instead adding incompatible to doesn't fit ( doesn't fit or incompatible)

Related to the comment about books:
I sell a lot of books, and when I put in the ISBN, the Catalog takes over and attaches a catalog item that is NOT the item I'm selling, more often than not.
Even if it is the correct item, the category is totally wrong, labeling most books as "textbooks" or "cookbooks" when they definitely are not.
I've stopped bothering to report these, as they never seem to change.

I just delete the ISBN from the Item Specifics, and put it in the description.

May had 31 days.  Which caused them to renew on the 14th instead of the 15th.

That's not how it's supposed to work.
Everyone howled so badly about that, when the renew time was 30 days, that eBay changed the policy, and said that items would renew on the same
DATE they were posted.
Did that change back?

This is what cause a lot of the uproar from sellers when GTC for all was implemented.  On months with 31 days a listing could renew twice in a single calendar month.  Ebay is fixing that and the fix is suppose to be out in July.

But that is what cause the difference you say.  GTC currently renew every 30 days.  Come July it will renew ONCE per calendar month.

Oh, that explains it.
The change hasn't been implemented yet.
When in July will it happen?

Re: Community Chat, June 19 @ 1:00 pm PT - General Topics

When will the 50 free listings per month, bogus promotion be removed from my store? We all know it is bogus and yet it still sits there now through the end of June. Am expecting it to continue to be there for the July 1-August like it did last year? I know better that I should not use all of my 100 with a Starter store knowing these 50 free will not work, but for those new to this, they see that bogus free 50 and just keep on listing until they are hit with overages. Been 2 months it still sits on my account and probably on other seller accounts that don't know better. Thanks if this can be fixed and soon.

And my second question that I raised before...if for some reason I go over my 100 limit knowing you have given me another 50 free for the same month, and I go over my limit, since this is an ebay glitch, will you reimburse me for those overages. Just asking as usual.

The new shipping labels page is a good improvement vs the old. Scan sheets and insurance can now be done in one place.

The only thing we see wrong is you can't see more than 2 types of priority items.

You can go to that sale and sort from all usps items but then you can't include that in your scan sheet.

I have been wondering happened to flat rate envelopes on the new shipping page. I moved to another shipping company,.

With the new USPS Dimensional weight starting soon, is it only domestic or will it affect international packages? My post office didn't know but did say international first class will only go up to 16 ounces instead of up to the 4lbs it has now. Can you shed some more light on this?? Or ask the shipping team to address this as I only see information on domestic. Thanks.

Hi @ncacheer - the Dim weight move impacts the  domestic Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express and Parcel Select services.

International services are a bit different. First Class Mail International (for documents and papers) is being reduced from 64 ounces to 16 ounces. Greater than 16 ounces and it would go First Class Mail International Package service up to the limit there (usually 4 pounds). Greater than 4 pounds and it would go Priority Mail International.

I just found out that I can't change handling time for items ending in 24 hours.

Used to be 12 hours. Now I am stuck with a late shipping defect on an item that ended while I was on vacation, because I changed the handling time more than 12 hours, but less than 24 hours, before the end.

Also, the 'Reminders' at the top say that handling time was changed 318 (of 323). That means there were four other items where the handling time did not get changed, when I told the system to make that change on all the active listings.
That's scary, because I can't find any way to check which others were not changed. (The one item I knew would sell while I was away was the only one with less than 24 hours left before it ended, so that was not the reason.)

I asked if the defect could be removed, under the circumstances, and I was told definitely NO.

This is mostly just a rant, but I would like eBay to be a little more tolerant, and help Sellers who get caught in a trap like this.

Hi @vrykalak, the timeframe when revisions are restricted is still 12 hours before an auction ends. Did you see messaging letting you know that it is 24 hours? If an auction has a bid on it then this will limit what can be revised, such as shipping information. If the listing in question did have a bid on it then this may be the reason you couldn't revise it.

Yes, it had a bid. That's how I knew it was going to sell.
Would that mean I couldn't change the shipping options any time after a bid was placed?
That's scary!

@vrykalak, when a buyer places a bid they are doing so under the impression that the shipping service, cost, and estimated delivery time will remain the same. Revising these aspects of a listing alters the terms the buyer agreed to when placing their bid. To avoid creating bad experiences, it is not possible to change shipping details once a bid is placed. My understanding is that additional shipping services can be added, but the current shipping costs, services, and handling time cannot be changed.
