email check box "send a copy to my personal email address" not working

When I reply to a buyer in eBay messages and check the box under the message to "Send a copy to my personal email address", since Friday 8/16/19, I no longer receive a copy sent to my personal email address. I have called eBay customer support twice about this and they say this function is working but it is not. My personal email address is a regular gmail address that has worked correctly up until now. There are no filters or other put on the personal email address. Even checking "spam" and other boxes at gmail through a Firefox browser shows no copy of the messages. Can someone please advise? I would like to receive these copies for my business archives. Thank you

The same **bleep** has been happening to me for several days now!  I thought it may have been just me or my account, but I've had several sellers comment about the messages here not working.  I no longer get any emails even though "Send a copy to my personal email address" is always checked, and the people to whom I'm sending messages rarely get them!  I even tried a search for that phrase and nothing!  They haven't mentioned a **bleep** thing about it here at the message boards, not on their "Announcements" page, NOR at their FaceBook page!  Now I'm not even getting what I send in my "Sent" folder so I don't even have a frickin' RECORD anymore of what I send! This is MOST SERIOUS because this is SERIOUSLY screwing up buys, sales, AND auctions! Don't let them feed you any of their **bleep** about "nothing is wrong"!  You can use my username AND my name if you contact them again!

Same here, my gmail did not receive my sent ebay messages copies, ebay Please HELP!!!

Have you tried to contact them?  For anyone that does try, they need to know there are several NEW threads about this and that it's happening to many members!

This has also happened to me after 14-Aug-2019. I believe the issue started to happen on 15-Aug-2019 as I have only received some emails on that date.

Also having the same issue recently, the box is checked but no email copies have been received for several days now. Any suggestions on who to contact?

Same here. No email notification when  I sent 3 separate messages to 3 different sellers yesterday. No replies from any of them which makes me think they did not get my messages, even though they're in my Sent folder. What is going on?

They are NOT getting the messages ~95% of the time!  I've sent many DOZENS of emails to sellers in the past WEEK, repeatedly, and only occasionally, RARELY they will actually GET them and when they do they always say something like '.....strange this is the first message I got from you, something is wrong with Ebay because others are not getting my messages either.....'.  I'm still not getting a copy of what I send, and sometimes what I send does not even show up on my frickin' "Sent" folder!  I'm (EVERYONE) is having to waste their time with countless hours of trying to keep track of what was sent, to whom, and when!  This is SERIOUSLY screwing up Ebay and they OBVIOUSLY DON'T GIVE A **bleep** about this even though it's COSTING THEM MILLION$ EACH HOUR!  Imagine the countless transactions that are NOT happening because people have UNANSWERED questions, the countless items NOT being sold for both auctions and "Buy it Now" because there's ZERO communication about said items!

Yes, I called CS about a half hour ago and they said they were aware of the problem but they filled out another report with my details.  I have a feeling my buyer never received my messages because I still haven't heard back from the several messages I sent them a few hours ago.  I hope they fix this quickly!

Hi @csbbct, I'm happy to clarify that there isn't an issue with sending messages to other members. However, there is an issue with the feature to have a copy of a message to personal email. This is being investigated by our developers now.

csbbct Thanks for that. 😉  I don't know what could have possibly made him come to that conclusion!  Apparently this is a much more serious issue than they believe!
