eBay says they called me but it's not true

I've tried 5 times today 01/06/21 to get a call from eBay
The page to click for the call says :
"Estimated wait time:1 minute

We'll call you at the phone number registered to your account, or you can enter a different number:"

 
But then 5 minutes or less later I get an email from eBay saying "We've tried to contact you but weren't able to reach you at the phone number on file"

I'm literally sitting 3 inches from my phone. It has not rung. They are not calling and the message they send isn't true.

What is going on?

If you are sure the number you have on file with eBay is correct, and not in another country or a VoIP number, your carrier may have blocked eBay's number as a spam number.

Ebay sends me a message saying I didn't answer the call...apparently they don't know that people's phone show who has called and who hasn't. I pretty much given up on eBay as they have NO customer service at all these days.
