Hi All,
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I am unable to select/print USPS Parcel Select Ground postage. I have had this issue with every item sold in the last 24 hours.
When I sell items and the buyer pays shipping, I usually offer 2 shipping choices, a slower less expensive option (Parcel Select Ground) and a more expensive faster option (USPS Priority). The problem I'm having is that when I go to print the shipping label, it is showing on the left side of the screen that the buyer selected USPS Parcel Select Ground and how much they paid...but in the list of services to the right, it will show that the buyer selected Media Mail or in one case Flat Rate Envelope. I did not offer these services as options and they clearly paid more than those options (what looks to be the proper amount for Ground). But there are simply no economy options listed on the right to select from. In other words, I am unable to choose USPS Parcel Select Ground because it is not an option.
In one case, it was allowing me to select USPS First Class if I changed the weight, but of course that did me no good since the item was over a pound.
This problem happened with a listing where I offered free shipping as well - the buyer had no control over the selection. I opted for USPS Parcel Select Ground as the shipping form when I posted that listing. And again, it did not give me an option to print USPS Ground postage through ebay.
All of the Priority options and flat rate options seem to be available as well as media mail.
I feel like I must be missing something simple - a setting change? Anyone able to help??
Thanks so much!
Jennifer

I looked at your listings and I'm very curious why you prefer to use Parcel Select Ground rather than Priority Mail?

This is a problem with eBay and made a huge mess for me after my auctions ended. I have cancelled the rest until this function is working again. Has anyone had success printing out a parcel select label yet?

For some items I use clik-n-ship USPS and send them via Regional A's and B's and offer other ways as well. You will have to have the those Regional boxes by USPS to sent Regional but very substantial savings over FLAT RATE Priority. VERY

eBay has had significant problems with labels & tracking and has done NOTHING to solve the problems. Their customer service reps also seem to know and understand NOTHING.
# 1: I'm in the Central Time Zone. Let's say I try to print a label early Monday morning between 12:00 am and 2:00 am. Their system will offer as shipping dates Tuesday or later, although it sometimes offers Sunday. NEVER MONDAY. I've called this to their attention for several months.
I explained this in detail and emailed a screen shot, to which their rep replied she was glad to help, eBay is in the Pacific Time Zone. (I had already pointed that out, Hello!?!)
# 2: Just yesterday a buyer made 3 individual purchases and paid S&H on each purchase. I refunded much of the S&H, shipped them together (5 oz package) but the system wouldn't let me combine to print a label. It also won't accept the tracking number on 2 of the 3 purchases, stating "that number is already in use on an active shipment".
# 3: When you void a label, the tracking number for the item remains associated with the item. No way to remove it.
I've worked with computers for what sometimes seems like a hundred years, and many of today's programmers just don't seem to have a clue. You haven't completed the job until your program handles ALL POSSIBLE SCENARIOS.
I suspect we'd see much better programming if they were required to spend half their time buying and selling on the website ...

That's in case the voided label is actually used.......

NOPE. If it's never used, the tracking # is still associated.

Agreed, that's what I was trying to say..........it has to be associated in the unlikely event it is used and so it can be credited .........it has to have a reference point of purchase......and the order is where it was sold.
