For the past couple weeks I have been getting UNAVAILBLE and ITEM NOT FOUND  messages on an intermittent basis when using the My eBay seller overview  page

It shows the UNAVAILABLE message for all  inventory and sales awaiting shipping areas when it happens.

When I do get inventory and sales, a search from these pages from time shows ITEM NOT FOUND.  After a couple tries the item is found.

Is this tied to the current issues with Item specifics?

So we are now going in to week 3 of a major catastrophic event caused by inadequate planning and engineering, with no end in sight. Most shocking of all is that they did this during Q4.

Seriously, is nobody from management going to muster up the courage to address all the sellers who are down 50% since this nonsense? All the buyers who cannot checkout due to mangled payments? Just going to stick with anonymous posts claiming things are fixed every other day when they're clearly not?

Unfortunately, I believe the only person who can save eBay at this point is Jeff Bezos, but he's currently busy running another e-commerce business....

Still having issue with IS dropping when using sell similar. New items stuck at 0 views then jumping into higher numbers days later. Super frustrating!

system does not allow you to edit/update items specifics using the bulk edit tool. rather you must edit one by one.  please correct this issue.

Have not been able to list clothing items due to not being able to change automatic updates. Example...color and material content. (Even if the automatic update isn't correct for the item.) Anything that says 'automatic updates'  in specifics will not change even if individually removed or 'remove all' is used.

Ebay for business facebook asked me to post this here about womens sweaters missing petite sizing (PS, PM, PL, PXL, P2X, etc) and only has numbered petite sizing.  I checked womens coats and tops and they still have petite sizing.  Right now all of my petite sweaters are listed with an incorrect size so they can at least be found in item specific search on your left. 

Rayon is no longer an option for any womens clothing.  Rayon is very common, searched for and now we have to leave it blank. Please add it back.

Also, is button cuff sleeve being added back for womens shirts and dresses? This is also very commonly searched for and every blouse I own has a button cuff sleeve because its an essential basic for career and casual wear.

Hi, I have the same thing going on...already had the required size, and the other one ebay now wants. You need to notice that red asterisk (means required), that is the one ebay wants that "should" stay. The other one with size doesn't have the red asterisk. I just did the Remove on the one without the asterisk. But that is what I am seeing and fixing. All I can say at this very very late point, good luck.

Many of my titles have words that don't belong. A Lot of my shipping preferences are missing. No sales in days. No compensation from eBay either. Very sad we have to find out most info about eBay through social media influencers.

Hi, are you saying you know the specifics are wrong for size "but at least they can be found"? Unless I read your post incorrectly. If I did read it incorrectly, could you go into your listings and put the correct size, even if you have to create a Custom Size block. I say this because if a buyer uses the left side to search and your item comes up, they buy it, then realize it was incorrect? You could face getting a SNAD...Hope am explaining this correctly.  And, trust me, not being snarky here. I say this because I have listed men's sports coats prior to the 15th, listed as Large. Looked next day at the listing and ebay threw it into size 10XL. If someone had bought it that way, I would have a big SNAD problem. Good Luck.

Finding that Ebay has added quantities to my inventory in variation listing that i didn't have before and have been out of stock for sometime, large quantities like 6  per size and color, multiple times per listing, having to Re-Inventory and selling items i never had in stock,  and was out of stock before all these Glitches happened and Ebay added to my inventory

Yes that's why I messaged them on FB to begin with is I didn't want an INAD return on items that the size option was no longer available in search.  They said to leave it as a size "S" under petites (how I have it, instead of writing in PS which is the correct size and how it has always been before) because they "believe" it was intended to be used searched this way now.  I guess this is only for petite sweaters that don't have number sizing for some reason.

No, we as sellers come out net zero for sales tax. What eBay is doing is including it in our sales totals and then removing and remitting it to the state in the background before releasing the balance to our accounts. This is a recent change which was detailed in an Oct 1 announcement (see link below). Note that the change is supposed to begin Nov. 1 but apparently it has already been rolled out. Prior to this, all of the collecting and remitting was invisible to sellers.
