Ebay says might be something wrong with my bank account info. It worked for you yesterday and nothing has changed. Please advise.

Same issue here glad I wasn't the only one, ebay really should have at least sent a second email or post a note in the account section saying they have an issue and are working on it rather than leave everyone in the dark and take away support lines.

There is a note in a yellow banner on the Help & Contact page now (click to enlarge):

Mine too - I have been assured by EBay that this ‘technical glitch’ is resolved and the payout will appear tomorrow. We shall see. I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come - especially around Christmas 🙄☹️

Add me to the list of people getting that message. Came here to see if I wasn't the only one, looks like I'm not!

Right. And part of the irony is rather than inform us of a technical glitch on their end, eBay puts the onus on the sellers who jump through hoops with their banks, all to no avail. So, many of us have wasted time contacting our banks, when had eBay just been up front, we'd know the issue was being addressed and a resolution could be expected shortly. But no.....

I received the same email. I've tried calling and CS tried transferring me to Managed payments. I've been on the line for 1hr 40 mins, and nobody is answering.

Rule No. 1 - Don't panic, always presume that it is an eBay technical glitch, because it ALWAYS is.
Looks like they are reprocessing.
I will echo the sentiment that we'd like PayPal back. The only one benefiting from Managed Payments is eBay. Don't tell me that throwing a few pennies savings at me even comes close to making up for the delay in payment (1 business day with PP (instant if you pay a fee) versus 3 business days with eBay). Sometimes buyer payments mysteriously don't clear for days, while others clear sooner than expected. Fees deducted directly from sales, which erases any float or perks for charging to your credit card every month. Pending returns cause a HOLD for the entire amount on your payout, whether the buyer returns immediately or never returns. At least we can still use PP to pay shipping charges, so we get that one day float, but I'm sure that will go away with a future "enhancement".

I'm just thinking that if they have a page like status it needs to be updated....religiously. It's okay to know a ticket has been opened on something but hard to confirm if it has been resolved or if it is even still on the radar.

I agree. Likely the person whose job it is to update the status board is waiting to hear back from the folks that are running around trying to diagnose and fix the problem.
As usual, the discussion boards (or the comments at downdetector) are the place to find the latest available information, assuming it can be spotted hidden among the deluge of individual "Anyone else having a problem?" messages.

yeah i now see they are attempting to send the payment back to my bank. Essentially the process was delayed by a day but i aged more then a year because of it.

I had exact SAME issue today. I called my bank, and they have NO record of an attempted payout today, though yesterday and all previous payouts were successful. Now, absolutely ZERO support from Ebay -- either via phone or chat! Glad I set up a separate checking account for these Managed Payments b/c I do NOT trust Ebay's security. It's NOT a bank or even a trusted financial firm!

Same issue as everyone else. There is no bank issue. It's on eBay's end. Everything was better with PayPal. Funny that my shipping cost's still get deducted from my PayPal account however. I'm not sure if I should just keep funding PayPal for this or let it run out and see what happens...not that there isn't money in my bank account. But, what if something like this happens again? How will the shipping cost get deducted?

since it looks like eBay is turning into more and more of a financial processing company, they need to act like one, and take steps to assure issues like this do not happen in the future. this is ridiculous, and i am seriously wondering if my ebay, bank, and paypal account info has been hacked.
i never had a problem with receiving/transferring/processing paypal payments/refunds/purchase cancellations.

The "Declined" message that was previously displayed in our Payments info... has now been changed to: "Processing Preparing to Send."
Looks like they're going to try again. Hopefully... whoever authorized sending the erroneous email message to all sellers using "Managed Payments" (stating that our bank accounts were the problem)... either loses their job or is removed from access to the eBay messaging system. It was an incompetent move... completely unnecessary and untrue.

If eBay wants to be a payment processing company they need to start acting like one. That vague email they just sent was such a joke. They definitely need to work on a better and more professional looking email. People had $1,000 payments declined today and received just a "Please make sure your info is correct or call your bank" when 99% of the issues today are on eBays end.
