A little over a half hour ago, I stopped being able to create or edit listings (using GarageSale), with the following error message:
You need to accept the new Payment Terms of Use before you can create or revise listings. Please go to https://useragreement.ebay.com/usragmt/agreement/PAYMENTS2_0_USER_AGREEMENT to accept the agreement.
I did so. But I'm still unable to list anything, despite updating app tokens and so on.
It seems worrying to me that when I do click "accept", I am sent to the Ebay.com landing page, with no "thank you" or other response message.

It looks like this is an API issue. I am able to create a new listing via the web interface.
But it's a show-stopper for the 100+ listings I revise and create every day using the GarageSale app and the eBay API.

Having created a new listing on the web (and after having presumably satisfied the accepting of the terms requirement), are you now able to go back to listing using the app?

Sadly, not one whit, no.

I found this thread on the GarageSale forum:

No answers there yet, but you are not alone (unless you posted that).

LOL yes well done that is me 🙂

I thought the phrasing sounded somewhat similar, but I was not sure.
Maybe the post will attract some attention from folks with other suggestions, though.

After an unhelpful discussion with an Account Rep, and more on Twitter, I'm here to say
1. the problem is definitely on the eBay API server side, somewhere (possibly as basic as a database sync issue),
2. it is very gradually spreading to other people; see the GarageSale thread linked above, and
3. it's not 100% of the attempts to list or revise that are failing
I realized this morning that I might be assuming every listing attempt was failing, so I launched a pile of 500. Turns out that about 1/6 of them, at random, succeeded, while the remaining 5/6 or so produced the incorrect error message.
When I re-tried the remaining listings that failed the first time, about 1/6 of those succeeded. And so on.
I'll watch over the course of the day and see if it gradually repairs itself. But it sure sounds like some of the cloud servers handling verification (for me) are borked, but not all of them.

It appears to have been fixed, gradually, over the last hour. I see 100% success rates here, now.

I still see four items from October with no titles shown in Purchase History, though I can see those order details. I will try again later to see if the titles reappear.
