New Way to Check Out Doesn't Allow Me to Use Credit Card Bonus Points

I use PayPal to check out, but now instead of going to the PayPal page and selecting which credit card to use, which allows me to choose the CC bonus points too, eBay no longer takes me to the PayPal checkout page but instead directly checks me out. How do I stop that from happening?

Is this something new eBay started. I know Paypal was unlinked from eBay a while back, but I didn't know that they were going to do something like this.

I really need help with this issue. Ebay has to change it back and allow me to use PayPal and choose the method within PayPal that I want to use. I can no longer purchase if I cannot use the CC I want to use. It is not only an issue with being able to use the bonus points I receive from my CC's but also a way I budget myself. Please, someone from eBay, please fix this issue.

When I check out and choose PayPal for a Buy It Now purchase, I am given the option to choose a credit card payment method from my PayPal account -- at least that is the case after deleting the PayPal entry in my eBay Payments page recently. Prior to deleting that entry, the option had gone away, likely due to a recent change.

Did you delete the PayPal entry in your eBay Payments page? If you did, what happens when you choose PayPal when checking out a Buy It Now purchase?

I do not use any credit card "bonus points", so I do not know if that can still be chosen at checkout, but I can certainly choose which credit card linked to my PayPal account to use when paying.
