I can't respond to messages without getting a red error banner across the top of the page. This has been going on for like a week now.
Now, for the past few days, I can't upload photos to send new listings live. I just get the spinning circles. I thought it was maybe my internet, but tried elsewhere and am having the same issues.
Why are there continual glitches on this site that don't get fixed? If it's not one thing, it's another.
Oh, and according to my emails, my item sold dates are years into the FUTURE! YES, today's items sold in 2024!
It's scary that we have to trust them with making payouts when there is always something broken!

What does the red error banner say when you try to respond to a message?
What browser or app are you using? Latest version? Desktop or mobile?
Try another browser, another mode or another link to view your messages.
If you are using a mobile browser, try using the eBay app or else request the desktop site version of the page with your mobile browser. Or try another browser.
Details about requesting the desktop site version of the page in various browsers can be found here:
If you are already using a desktop browser, try a different link such as this link to messages from members:
https://mesg.ebay.com/mesgweb/ViewMessages/0/m2m
If all else fails, try reading your messages on ebay.ca instead of ebay.com.
If you have your messages sent to your email address, you may be able to read and respond that way. Try responding directly to the email message rather than using the reply button in the message itself. If you have more than one eBay account, make sure you are signed in to the same eBay account that the message was directed to.
You should be able to go to a user's feedback or profile page and compose a new message there using the "Contact" link if you are unable to respond to a message. If prompted for an item number, try selecting "not about an item" if the item number is old or you get an error message.

That may just be a formatting error in a particular mail message, but you may want to check that your system date and time is set correctly just to be sure. If your date and time is not set correctly, that can lead to all sorts of odd errors, and failure to install updates, which can lead to further problems.
