Site keeps leaving classic version with high resolution images when you click to view an item. The item then appears in the lower resolution mobile type version of ebay. How to you buy ot sell anything when you cannot see any detail? Recent glitch just today, listed one item and could only see my own images in higher resolution if I went to (revise listing) and enlarged them there! Just venting!

You are a genius! Thank you so much! Why doesn't ebay have you at the help desk? Is there a help desk? 🙂 ...
So grateful for your help.

You can use the desktop version on your phone, but it will require you to enlarge the page
(finger spread), then much scrolling to see the entire screen. Each time you wish to tap on a link, you will have to enlarge the screen again to select the correct link, but FYI...
You can use your device's browser to access eBay, just like a desktop.
Tap your device's browser icon, tap the url (address) line, the type in ebay.com,
Enlarge the page, and Tap Sign in, once you are signed in,

Thank you for suggesting Firefox! My problem was different--mobile version "no longer supported" was the message I got after a software update on my phone this morning. I really like the mobile version on my phone. I first tried loading the desktop page, but it was really cumbersome. Then I opened eBay in the Firefox browser, and the mobile version worked fine! I don't know how to designate a browser to open a link from email, as I often receive from eBay, so for now I am making Firefox my default browser on my phone. I'll see how that goes. (I do use it part of the time on my laptop.) I really like using DuckDuckGo on my phone, but suddenly eBay seems to be rejecting it for the mobile version.
Thanks again.

Thanks very much to all. My issue was trying to see older purchases that were hidden. Couldn’t figure out a way to do that on the app. I was trying to investigate a questionable PayPal charge on my credit card statement from last month.
Has anyone else experienced the following issue with PayPal?
My buying history just STOPPED on Feb. 20th. So I wasn’t able to investigate the questionable charge on my credit card. PayPal has provided ZERO help.
They won’t answer the phone, return phone calls, or respond to messaging.

Is it possible that you made eBay purchases after February 20th using a credit card on eBay directly, bypassing PayPal? Around that time a lot of users were experiencing problems signing in to PayPal from eBay checkout, and many tried checking out using a credit card on eBay as an alternative. Once established, that payment method may have become the default.
If you check your purchase history and your payment method just says "credit card" then that was likely made through eBay directly. If your payment method says "PayPal" and there is a link to "view PayPal transaction" that should appear in your PayPal account.

Thank you for your detailed assistance. It used to be so easy to just click the "classic site" link at the bottom of the page. I don't know who changed things, Samsung/Android update or Ebay, but it suddenly stopped working sometime in June or July (I think). This prevented me from seeing purchase history and leaving feedback. I had to go to my laptop, which I rarely use these days.
Thank you so much for this work-around.
