There's no description available whatsoever for items even though they're available on the website.
The description part just doesn't appear anywhere to click on to read the description.
Only one item I've viewed so far out of 25 or so from all different sellers has had a description.

I'm having the same problem (Android app). This glitch will probably save me some money, ironically, since I'm going to put a freeze on new eBay purchases until it's fixed.

Add me also - I just checked and getting the same. Great, another day of no sales I assume?! Or if someone does decide to order and no description for the buyer to read spells a recipe for disaster..

I'm using Android 12 (Pixel 4a) and I think the is related to the the way the listing is displayed. If you click the listing then no description shown but if you then refresh the listing (pull down from top to refresh as normal) then the description will appear. Sometimes one refresh but others took three refreshes before the description would appear. So something is wrong with the App but probably a simple fix if they get on it.
For info I also tried following:
- Clear cache
- Clear all data
- Full reinstall
- Revise and relist in app
- Revise and relist in browers (Brave)
None of above made any difference but should note that descriptions are all visible in the browser. It was only then that I noticed if I clicked multiple times into the listing (in Android app) that sometimes the description does appear, so I started refreshing the item after initial click to load and the descriptions all eventually all appear.
So they are not lost, they are just not showing on the initial click to the listing within the app, which might be enough to put buyers off if they do not try/know to refresh in the Android app. Hope it gets fixed soon.

That can happen when a mobile browser is switching between classic and mobile mode or a redirection does not resolve correctly. Try using a different browser mode or a different browser altogether. Or a desktop browser.

It's working for me now. Too bad they aren't treating the other issues as urgently - I still can't list any items sent via First Class Mail since Friday. Totally ridiculous.

The redirection error does not only happen on mobile devices, it is just that it is more common on mobile devices that have issues switching between different modes, particularly when doing so causes a redirection to a new page, which can cause another redirection. Redirect loops often cause such errors.
Other kinds of broken or misdirected links can also cause such errors.
Not sure how you are adding item specifics, but if you can use a different listing tool, that might be worth trying. Or try another browser.

I just gave up for the day. This is not an issue with my computer or browser. I click on ADD ITEM SPECIFICS under TASKS in SH, and every one I click on shows me a large blank square with blue buffering circle of death in center with the words "www.ebay redirected you too many times", also getting repeated redirect links before ebay pages load. I know the NEW ITEM SPECIFICS REQUIREMENTS start Today, This is an ebay issue along with everything everyone else is complaining about with Not being able to PRINT LABELS and DISSAPEARING ITEM DESCRIPTIONS on MOBILE APP.
