When I attempted this evening (5:45pm / Pacific) to authorize a new user for our account... to "View Orders" and "Download Order Reports"... as soon as I entered their contact info and permissions... and approved the request... it immediately launched a volley of 20 emails... welcoming me to the Seller Hub... in six different languages!! (two different messages; 4 in English; and 16 in other languages).
When I phoned Customer Support... they had no idea what I was talking about. In addition, there were no such messages in our "My eBay" message center. I was extremely concerned about so many sudden messages... but I went ahead and cancelled the request to add the new user (it has updated the request to PENDING).
There have been no additional messages received since that time.
In over 20 years... I've never seen such a bizarre glitch on eBay... and it's clear that CS had no idea what to recommend.
