Since yesterday I have not been receiving "sold" emails, nor am I getting emails when a buyer is sending me a message - not receiving them on my computer nor on my phone. It started suddenly yesterday when a buyer bought 2 items from me. I received a sold notification for the first one, but not the second. Then this morning I made another sale, but no email notification. Now a buyer asked me a question but, again, only saw the notification in the app, not in an email. I am still receiving the "your shipping label is ready" emails with no problem. Anybody else having this problem?

Buyer here, not receiving any email notifications for past 24+ hours, not about purchases, not about shipping, not about arriving, nothing. I don't use the ebay app BTW.

It appears when Ebay changed the look of the whole back end, they, by default, turned OFF notifications. Not that it mattered, I turned it on in two places and still didn't get notified of a purchase. I refuse to have to go directly to Ebay to check for these (although now I have to). That's what emails are for. I only clued in when ebay said they sent my payment (for WHAT?). So I was 2 days behind on that first notification (think it was sold on Dec. 26). I had another sale this morning but no email again.
'Item Sold' had been turned off by default

Same issue here - Many customer messages not coming through on email but show up in messaging. We have a CRM system for handling customer service issues (so we don't use the ebay messaging app).

same, i got some your item has sold emails and some shipping receipt emails but there are quite a few missing never got past few days. Called ebay and they said there is an issue and added my account to the list of affected - said they were working on it should resolve by Monday - we'll see, since yesterday afternoon I got 5 email notifications/ship receipts, 1 payout email - missing 2.

the option of "Item Sold" (first option) was unchecked on most peoples accounts, but that isn't issue cause I rechecked that 3 days ago and still missing email notifications and receipts. Though everyone should make sure that option wasn't turned off anyways. The issue is for ALL emails, item sold, shipping receipts, payouts etc...

Having the same issue. This is a technical issue which Ebay needs to fix.

slight update...getting all item sold emails now, however, zero shipping receipt emails today - 4 packages no receipt

Same issue here. I'm not getting any emails when items are sold, when buyers make an offer, or after generating shipping labels. I have all notifications enabled in my communications preferences. I had no idea some items sold until I checked the website.

No notification on purchased labels, no on published listings. Experienced e-bay user sent me 6 the same messages , trying to reach other seller. Yesterday thought something is wrong with my browser or provider. Now see it is not only my problem. Hope they fix it soon. Obviously it is on e-bay side.

Of course I am checking my eBay! That's how I know I've sold things. My problem is I am not getting the emails which I find very useful.

OK, I just got a notification from eBay that they are aware of the situation and IT is working on it. Relieved to see that is a known problem, unfortunately widespread, but not just me. Thanks to everyone for their responses.

On 12/29, I also received all my sold item e-mails. However, today 12/30, I have not received any sold item e-mails for items that have sold.
So I don't think its fixed!

Yesterday I had a sale without an email. I received notification through the app. Today I had a sale with an email but no app icon on my phone. Just one sale yesterday, and one sale today.
