Ebay site does not show the number of views on my listings. Showing up as zero

The number of views on my listings are showing up as zero.  Once in a while they come back for a short time and then disappear.  Very frustrating! Anyone else having this issue?  Is there a way to fix it?

Hi @shopperchamp, this is a known issue and our developers are actively working to resolve it. While views are not always displaying properly, it is not impacting search results or an items visibility. I'm sorry for any frustrations it has caused!

Re: Ebay site does not show the number of views on my listings. Showing up as zero

This is further testament to gross website instability. If O views displayed in my pseudo seller hub I click to unsolds> to get into my Selling Mgr Pro then hit back button and they all appear/ fill into listings FYI If you have zero view> click on it> the 1 view is YOUR view., which I did several times to various 0 view listings & Rep confirmed today.
so that is frustrating which means technically at 1 you have no views but your own if you looked at the listing... I really want more reasurance that this is not linked to actual visibilty as sales are so off especially for those that had bookmarked BUT since Buyer cant find the listing again as it wont display ended listing anymore & if relisted gets assigned new number Ebay has yet again shot us all in the back including themselves.

Yes, that would be the right thing to do for any company that truly values it's customers (in this case being both sellers and buyers as they make $$$ from both ends). My sales have stopped flat for just over 2 weeks now. No notice or updates or timelines for correction. Sorry Ebay, I'm going to have to give you a negative feedback rating on this issue:(

I’m convinced there is some sort of shadowban once your sales reach a certain number.

I have had the most active month in all my time on here, and suddenly all my new listings have no views. No sales or views. It’s really frustrating.

I‘ve never used eBay for this amount of volume but now I know not to count on them putting the listings in front of people at all.

I'm having the same issue. Watchers appearing but no views. I list inventory everyday so this issue is rather obvious. Ebay has acknowledged the issue but no ETA on the fix. It's been at least 3 days now. No doubt we'll all be charged full fees for what seems to be questionable service.

Sigh. unamused

I'm having the same issue and more.  Says I have 7 unsold items.  Click there and none listed.  I fear I'm not receiving offers.  I've listed items that should have had some action by now.  Customer service reps, while nice, polite and professional were able to accomplish nothing more than report it to tech dept.  I was told it could take 2 days to 2 months to fix.  At this point I'm leaving being "simply frustrated" in the rear view mirror.

A little more info.  My sales have dropped to zero.  The views come and go but at times are way off.  For example, one listing will show 0 views, refresh a couple of times and it will show 47 views (about what it was a week ago) refresh a couple more times it it jumps to 667 views.  Ebay's tech dept should be embarrassed.  I opened another window and viewed my listings, then viewed my listings from my wife's laptop.  These, of course, are not showing, but I know the listings are available to be seen.  This is more concerning because not only are we missing out on potential sales, but we could be missing out on repeat customers.  I will start reaching out to my repeat customers and let them know about this issue so they don't leave me.

Yes it is happening on my sales page too.  Just started today.  I cant figure out why it happens to some sellers on some days and to others on other days?  Also this problem seems to happen several times a year.  I think it coinsides with some sort of site updates.   I have noticed at various times that listed item dont seem to get any views, which is unusal.   Its like the items are not being seen buy buyers.  These glitches do effect sales......

Also anyone get a bunch of free listing offers and yet none have shown up even though it was activated?   Why can Ebay just leave things alone.....

Re: Ebay site does not show the number of views on my listings. Showing up as zero

Ebay is not being honest with us.  My problem has been going on for a week.  From all the discussions I've read, it appears this happens when Ebay is doing major "upgrades" to their system.  The service reps I've spoken to have said that they are in the process of making changes.  Of course, the spin was that it will make things better.  But past discussions seem to point out a correlation between major changes and these sort of issues.  2 days to 2 months to fix is absurd.  I will call them 5 times a day and encourage everyone to call.  Let's get the word out that Ebay knows why this is happening and they just keep allowing many of us to have problems so they can make more money.  Even their contact us page is a giant Ebay commercial.  I have invested a lot of money in inventory and it sits here.   I'm beyond frustrated.

Only Ebay has  the solution.  Your customer service reps have been polite, professional, nice and really delightful to talk to, however they are unable to help other than write a ticket or file a report.  Ebay is using these nice people to spread propaganda to ease the frustration of people like myself.  A company the size of Ebay should have a nearly endless supply of capital to correct these issues right away.  You guys should be ashamed.  I was told the issue was NOT widespread, yet there are thousands of posts with similar problems.  Ebay is costing me money.  I have thousands of dollars of inventory just sitting around.  Do I smell class action?

I'm already looking into this myself.  There are other alternatives as well, they all just have smaller audiences.
