Drop down menus not working. Please help.

Hello.

 

My drop down menus have not been working for quite awhile.  I thought the issue would resolve itself but no luck.  Anyone else experiencing this problem?  Any ideas on how to fix it?  It is not my cache.  That deletes automatically.  I tried a different browser with no success.

 

I need to be able to perform tasks.

What drop downs? Where? What are you trying to do? 

 

Can you post screenshots or snippets of what you're describing?

 

What OS are you using? Which browser? Which platform? What have you tried to do so far to try to remedy the problem?

 

You say your cache is clear, but what about your eBay cookies? Have you cleared those?

 

It's really best to give as much information as possible when posting about an issue like the one you're experiencing.

Drop down menus not working. Please help.

None of them work.  In the seller hub on the active listings page, I use the drop down menus to end listings, send offers, promote listings...etc.  None of them are working.  No reason to show you since there is nothing to see.  When I click on the arrow, no menu shows up.

 

You seem so grumpy about the whole thing so never mind.  I guess all my listings are forever now.  So what if winter items stay listed through the summer.  I guess.

on you on mobile? or PC.........  trying a different browser is a really good test to see if there is a problem with the one you are using.........

Hey @nmemoryof. Is the problem with the actions column drop-down or is it with the bulk edit and quick filter features above your listings as many people are discussing in this thread?

At least one person on that thread confirmed they're using an older version of their browser due to having an older computer with an older OS so that hasn't yet been ruled out as a potential cause.

Drop down menus not working. Please help.

This seems to have been true for at ast the last month or two.  The Seller Hub is completely populated with links and tabs that do not respond when clicked on - no way to relist multiple items, schedule times, etc.  I finally gave in and relisted a bunch of items one by one... and after several days live, none of them show any traffic at all (no views, etc) which seems pretty odd.

 

I don't know what groovy new features eBay is trying to add to the site, but it's not anything that's of interest to me as a regular, average person trying to use their site to sell some stuff.  Maybe they could reboot everything back to the way it ran a year or two ago?  That seemed to have been working pretty well, and I think it was making them money.  I can't imagine this situation is very profitable.

Been experiencing this for about 2 months as well. Report it at least 20 times, nothing, no response. Back to eBay not caring about sellers.

I think this is a tactic being used to discourage small stores. Seems like we're the only ones who experience tese issues and have no action taken.

Everyone commenting "you didn't provide enough information" is clueless...very easily understood what you're experiencing.

From listings page go to seller help, then scroll down to need more help, then you’ll see end a listing you can see all your listings here and end the ones you want . I’m like you the easy drop down from the front page is so much easier but at least this works . I’m thinking it is probably a latest browser issue but not sure. Hope this helps you.

I'm having the same issue. I can't fill out a listing, because dropdowns open, but won't shut, which covers the dropdown below it so I can't see or click on it. I can't complete a listing this way.

For me, it's dropdowns on the page to add listings. Some of them open and shut just fine, but some open, but won't shut, so the dropdown below it is covered, I can't see or click on it.

 

I'm not able to complete a listing. I've tried both of my browsers, so that isn't the issue.

Hey @l0nghauls0l . This is a completely different issue than what the rest of the thread is about. I can confirm what you're describing happens a lot.

 

Try this:

 

When you're on the listing form filling out an item specific field and the menu is stuck open, click the arrow. That will switch the menu from open to closed. Sometimes hitting the enter/return key will work, but not always. When it doesn't work you have to manually click that arrow.

 

Make sure your value is selected before you close the menu.
